No HDR Support
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s 2021 and this little “bandaid” is more like a 10 or 20 dollar adapter vs 39.99 plus tax. They specifically designed and released this for the next gen consoles, but for some reason decided that the HDR support wasn’t needed. Save your money... try using the optical port out of your tv to the base station instead. I’ve used that connection for a few weeks with the Xbox SX and it has worked fine with no issues.

Posted .Hello Tele, we are sorry to hear that the HDMI adapter did not meet your expectations. The HDMI adapter is only for Playstation 5. So if you pair it with an Xbox, it will not work properly. For Xbox consoles, the A50's and A40 with the mixamp will need a firmware update. You can do the update by downloading the Astro Command center to your computer. For best results with Resolution on the PS5, I have attached a link at the end of this message to help you out with troubleshooting the video quality.
