There are a lot of more comfortable options out there, but if these are the only ones in your budget they will work great. They are just heavier than a lot of newer ones.

Mic arm was broken in 30 minutes

The mic arm should flip up and down. When doing this, the arm becomes very loose and eventually falls off (you can try and pop it back in, but it has no tension and is very loose). Only fix online is to take the headset apart.

I'm only giving 2 stars because they worked as intended but I wasn't happy with the fit and finish. I know they aren't hundreds of dollars, but you'll get a better bang for your buck from HyperX. Already returned the A10s.

Microphone comes loose.

Bad experience/usability but ok sound

I had to unplug the audio cable several times from the headphones before it connected right. The mic does not really mute when it is upright, and I have to unplug it from the computer every time I restart it to get it to see the mic

However the benefit of these is that they are easy to repair. However the sound insulation sucks so other people can hear you when you play anything louder than usual.

Headband is strong and sturdy, cushion and ear cups are EXTREMELY soft and comfortable, but firm enough to not squish flat after hours of play. Microphone works really well according to people I game with, and the flip-to-mute functionality is always a nice touch. Sound quality is great! Crystal clear highs and mids make it so you know exactly where the enemy is at all times. There isn't as much bass response as I'd like, but that's a personal preference. My one complaint about the headset is the size. I've tried ASTRO before and was hoping the redesign might have included resizing for larger heads (me ;-), but it did not. For most people, however, this will not be an issue. I would highly recommend this headset for anyone on a budget. The price point is a bargain for the quality you get. If you have a regular-sized or smaller head (that’s a thing, right?), then these will definitely increase your enjoyment of whatever your game is. Go for it!
