The Astro Gaming - A10 Gen 2 Wired Stereo Over-ear Gaming Headset for Xbox/PC with Flip-to-Mute Microphone – Black is worth every dollar that they cost. The 32mm dynamic drivers give my ears an experience similar to listening to a movie in an IMAX theater. I can differentiate amongst all the different sounds clearly. Viewing my computer or TV screen with the Astro Gaming - A10 Gen 2 Wired Stereo Over-ear Gaming Headset for Xbox/PC with Flip-to-Mute Microphone – Black on gives an experience of actually becoming absorbed into the game or video that I am watching. The large ear cushions are extremely soft and cushiony. My ears fit inside the ear pads with no tightness or discomfort. And when they become worn, I can easily replace them along with the headband. The volume control on the removable headphone cable allows adjustment with ease. The Flip-to-Mute Microphone delivers clear and crisp audio. I can hear all aspects of my gaming experience more clearly with the Astro Gaming - A10 Gen 2 Wired Stereo Over-ear Gaming Headset for Xbox/PC with Flip-to-Mute Microphone – Black than any other headset that I previously used

First off I’m not lt a big fan of wired headsets. For the most part I only use wireless. My primary is one of the wireless version of this headset. I can say that there is no noticeable different in the sound quality between this and the wireless version and I primarily purchase it for the sound quality. The detail in the sound is outstanding- explosions sound like explosions, people sneaking up behind you sound like people sneaking up behind you. All that and no visual to audio sync issues The comfort level is outstanding - I can wear these for hours at a time with no fatigue. They seem to be the same basic design as the previous model and they have been very durable so I would expect the same with these. The flip to mute is a must have for any gaming headset - not sure I could live with out it. If it’s not there search for the mute button is a pain. If you in the market for a budget price set of headphone you can’t go wrong with these. They are high quality, comfortable and durable - just remember to take them off before you walk away or the wire will do it for you

Using this set of headphones, can benefit the gamer and productivity user. No complaints for remote listeners of the microphone output. Easy to use microphone, and can get it in position pretty easy Good quality of sound, and the volume can get to good volume. Does get a good in-depth audio. so you can hear some of the details in games, that may be critical to a gamer. Extremely easy setup, nothing complicated. The ear adjustments stay in place, and the design looks like over time it will resist the #1 place headphones break. Comfortable for medium length use. The only knock that I had to give it, is that there is minimal air flow.. and if you wear them for a very long period (I can wear them all day for work), that ears get sore and hot at times... and the larger headband on top, can get a little "headphone head" (like bed head). The overall design seems to be very durable, but a short review can't judge that... will need to possibly update this review, down the road

Ear cups a little small. Sound is good though

These headphones have a detachable long cord with connection options for the PC/Xbox. The plug-and-play simplicity allows for easy setup to get right into action. The cushions are not only soft, light and comfortable, all padding is also replaceable. Flip-to-mute mic is a very practical feature, can be used effortlessly while gaming. The headphones frame is very durable, able to flex and twist without breaking, so it should last quite a long time. Sound quality is very strong and clear. With the over the ear design it closes off outside noise and serves as a wonderful immersive experience. However, my minor gripe with the product is that the ear cups are too small for my ears. I have to tuck them into the cups for a proper seal. Maybe my ears are a little big, I don't know. Even though the headphones are adjustable to all sizes of heads, a product that is supposed to be consumer friendly should be able to adapt to people of all sizes of ears. It loses a star for me for lack of adaptability.

These headphones are very nice and I've enjoyed them a lot. They have a very comfortable fit and lightweight so no neck fatigue during long listening sessions. Value is incredible for what you get and their quality of build. Feel, sound and overall quality are top notch. Their sound is absolutely awesome! Crystal clear with crisp sharp highs and strong deep base. I've been doing most of my gaming and streaming music lately over a nice pair of wireless headphones. Let me just say that these WIRED headphones have so much more power/volume/rich sound as compared to the wireless comparison. These also achieve all that greatness in a lighter and more comfortable package. Built-in boom microphone with flip to mute on-off works well and clear sound for easy communication with friends while gaming. As mentioned these are wired and have a 1/8" cor/connector so they'll work with pretty much any source that have a headphone jack. No worries about connection to bluetooth, USB or needing any PC drivers and junk. You just plug these in ad go. Cord also has a handy volume control knob built in for quick adjustment. Overall I've really enjoyed these headphones and I think they are a phenomenal value for their price. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I love how flexible this headset is and how comfortable it is! It has a flip down mic that also mutes the mic when it's flipped up. The ear cups are large enough to fit over your ears and minimize fatigue from wearing it during long gaming sessions. They are also replaceable so if you needed to you could relatively easily. Because I have a larger head some headphones feel like a vice grip but these seem to feel just fine perhaps because they are flexible and not too heavy but not so light they feel cheap either. In this regard I'd say they are nearly perfect! For sound quality, they are great and separate the stereo sound well so that when you hear things coming toward you you actually hear it that way and the bass, mids and highs all sound balanced and good overall. The mic and volume controls are easy to use and it flips down in just the right spot for me. The cable is long enough that for my gaming setup the cord is plenty long for plugging in to a controller or amp. Overall, this is a great headset, it's simple, high quality and works very well. Durability is a huge factor in cases where it might get set on the sofa or grabbed/dropped.

I have tried lots of headsets out and feel like they are all pretty similar. The packaging was nice and the headset looks and feels like it's made of quality materials. This doesn't feel flimsy or cheap when you take it out of the box. It's not too big that you'd have to worry about this not fitting a variety of head sizes or shapes if you're sharing as a family. It's slightly big on my oldest son but fits my husband and me with no issue. I like the padding on this headset, I've had some in the past that were not overly comfortable for an extended gaming session. That hasn't been an issue with this one, it fits over the ear without any pressure points. I like the slightly thicker band that goes on the top of the head, seems to stay in place well without any slipping. We tried this out with a variety of games on our consoles and found this performed well regardless of the type of game. Blocks out a decent amount of background noise thanks to the over the ear style and doesn't have much sound outside the headset if the wearer has the music or game turned up loud. All in, great option without breaking the bank.

    Top notch wired headset.

These are really nice wired gaming headsets. If you are a gamer that can't stay still while your playing your favorite games, the cord on these headsets is very long allowing pretty good freedom of movement around the room. The sound is top notch. They have emersive sound, good bass and realistic sound reproduction and they do a great job canceling outside noises, keeping you immersed in the game and not whatever else is going on around you. The mic flips up and automatically mutes while in that position in case you don't want your fellow gamers to hear what you are really thinking.. The ear cups fit nicely and the padding is very comfortable for extended play time. I have used these on a Playstation 4 and on PC and they have worked flawlessly on both platforms. These gaming headphones compare very well to other brands of headphones that I have used in the past, and are better that most of them. If you are in the market for wired headsets to use with your favorite gaming rig, these are worth considering.

I received this product in exchange for my fair and unbiased review. The Astro Gaming A10 Gen2 headset is a great basic wired gaming headset for the new or budget gamer. The drivers provide clear, clean sound with good highs and decent lows. The headband and ear cups are comfortable for extended sessions of gaming or listening. The microphone is decent enough for voice chat in a quiet environment but will pick up on background noise if your video card is running hot. The removable cable is a nice bonus at this price point, but replacing it will require a TRRRS-type cable, and some devices may not like this connector without the included mic/headphone connection Y-splitter. The inline volume control is also a little annoying as I found myself bumping it. Probably the best feature I found with this headset, however, is you don't need to install any software to your computer to use it properly. This means no bloatware. If you're looking for something low-end that will work well, this is it.

The headset is stylish and seems to be very well made. The vertical adjustment is stiff but holds in place. Sound quality is good but it would be nice if it supported Dolby Atmos. The mic is clear with no feedback. Mic adjustment up and down to mute is smooth also. I have a small head but the headset just does not feel right. It seems way too small even though it is comfortable. The earmuffs provide adequate coverage over the ear but the overall frame seems out of proportion. My nine year old son tried them as well and he was not happy with the fit. He has a big head for his age and he said they were too small as well. If these were advertised toward young children I believe they work well and be a five star product. They connect well to an xBox controller and feel they should be targeted at the 4 - 8 year old age group and include volume limited protection. If you like a headset with a small feel, these may be for you. They are affordable, but there are many other items in the same price range that fit better and support Dolby Atmos.
