Works great until cord starts to short.

The wires keep shorting out after about 6-7 months. I'm not sure if it's the product or the usage (my son is 11). The headsets work just fine, but the cord has to be held just right for the mic to work when it starts to go bad. It's been the same problem with all the headsets.

Ok for gaming

I have yet to find an average priced pair where the microphone doesn't break. I still use these because I can hear everyone just fine, but I did buy a separate microphone and use that instead. So far, that has worked better for me than to buy a combination headset and microphone without spending alot of money.
