I own the Astro A50’s and these are definitely related to the family, however you can definitely feel the quality dive on the A20’s. The audio wheel isn’t as intuitive as the A50’s. It seems to be a hit or miss when playing games as well. You’re supposed to be able to isolate game/chat. It doesn’t work as advertised.

Let me start with this is a PS4 review. I owned a pair of Astro A10 2019 edition and for a wired headset at $60 it was extremely impressive! I figured with doing extensive research about the A20 gen 2 I decided to upgrade to the big brother especially because the big selling point is they will work on ps4, xbox and pc per the Astro website. I got these home and after watching a few videos more I got the Xbox pair paired with my PS4. Now here's where the issues come in with this headset. Being bought by logitech and combined technology they really took a step backwards. The connection wasn't consistent and every time I would hear low times it was crackling and distorted. I followed the software update instructions but the website doesn't support the A20 gen 2. I tried to reconnect to my PS4 and couldn't get the dongle to sinc with the headset. I followed all instructions and every back channel but no solution. So I figured I would check this on PC. It worked but same sound issues and definitely not loud enough. Really wanted these to work since money is tight and these were early Christmas gift. Luckily I was able to find the Sennheiser GSP370 on sale for the same price with the Best buy warranty with simple plug and play no fuss. I really hope logitech gets it together and continues to make Astro a house hold name. Logitech has phenomenal sounds in headset but build quality is sometimes an issue for them. In closing I would definitely recommend going with the Logitech G733 if you want better bang for your buck for the same price often times cheaper. With companies like Sennheiser, hyperx, corsair and steel series making phenomenal headsets it's a shame Astro went backwards.
