They come with a very cheap transmitter that once it stops working you're out a headset because they never have any transmitters in stock to buy on Astros website. I would spend my money elsewhere.

This purchase was a disappointment. Bought for my 13 yr old son for Christmas. Right out of the box this head set did not work. Dad helped him to ensure the firmware/software was up to date. Whent online to read troubleshooting methods. Still did not work. We will be returning this item.

    Easy to use/charge and Comfortable

TLDR: Overall this is a nice set of headphones with good sound and comfortable and easy to use. Setup: These do require the use of the USB dongle. It works well and on PC/Xbox, just plug it and go. Headphones pair easily so there is no issues with that. Makes it easy to move the headphones between devices/Desktop/Laptops. Don't have to re-pair it, just move the dongle. It is a long boy, so on laptops just not that it will be hanging out. On the downside it is a USB dongle, so if you lose it you can't use the headphones until you replace, so that can be a con for people, but since I have it on my desktop PC and that doesn't move it isn't an issue. Usage: Using the headphones is easy. The sound is good for me. I'm not an audio person, so high/lows and all that, not me, I can't speak to it. I can say it is clear, easy to hear, no crackle and the mic, I got no complaints from my teammates, they could hear me clearly and I do like the fact you can mute it by pushing it up. Having a way to quickly mute is handy since I do live in a noisy house. Wearing these for long sessions is not a problem. I found them light and comfortable and the battery had no problem lasting all day for my gaming needs, and I can be picky because of glasses. It wasn't an issue for me. I do like the simple controls. Overall you need some wireless headphones for gaming, these I think are a great choice. Easy and comfortable with sound that meets my needs.

it sucks i hate it it doesn't even work, i acknowlegde that i bought the wrong part, but they don't even stock the xbox transmitter anymore. so not only did i waste a 120 dollars i can't return it either. This headset feels somewhat uncomfortable on the head, the shape isn't the nicest.

Easy setup, just plug the included USB into your Xbox, turn on the A20 and it automatically links up, then you are good to go. The A20’s fit nicely on my head and are pretty comfortable especially for a long gaming marathon. A con is they aren’t noise cancelling which I do like in a gaming headphone so there are less intrusions into my game play. Battery life is great at a stated 15 hours, I have used for multiple sessions without having to charge, but you could also just charge after every use to always keep the batteries ready to go. There are 3 preset EQ settings to help you pick the best sound profile to suit the game you are playing and with an advertised 50 foot range you can jump and walk around to your hearts content and not lose the signal, I had absolutely no issues with the range. I love the flip up to mute boom microphone so when real life does intrude the whole gaming community wont hear your wife, kids etc..the mic is also not noise cancelling though which is another con as your fellow gamers can hear things in your house if its noisy. The A20’s are visually appealing for sure and if the noise cancelling cons are not deal breakers these should be great for your gaming needs.

As soon as you open the headset packaging, the first impression is that its massive, but does not feel premium. The touch has a cheap plastic feel to it. But that also plays into it being light despite its size, making it so easy to wear for long periods of time. The earcups again have that cheap feeling cloth to touch, but they are super comfortable. Overall, this is the best example of not judging a book by its cover. Once you wear them, you don't care how premium they look or feel, you just don't feel them at all, which is the best thing you can say about headphones you have to wear for long. Beyond this, the setup was effortless on the PS4, essentially there is no setup, its plug and play with the dongle. The audio quality is good but I have always had an issue with all PS4 headphones - the max volume is just not high enough. But I can't fault these headphones for it. During party chats, my friends could hear my crisply without any audio feedback, and the flip to mute feature works like a charm. And every item I review nowadays, gets a plus just if it has a USB C charging port. And this one does as well.

    Cheap throw away headset

Headset shuts off automatically at undetermined intervals. Headset fail point is the the mic arm movement for mute. This worked for about 4 days. Now there is static and mute only works intermittently. This is a cheap throw away headset.
