Good Sound, Great Mic, Easy to Use

I’m using these headphones for gaming on my PC. They are designed for both the XBOX One and a PC or Mac. They’re easy to use, just plug in the included USB transmitter, press the small button on the transmitter, press the power button on the headset and they’re setup. From there, you can go into either the sound settings on your computer or the settings within the game you’re playing and select the headphone as your main source for audio and mic. This last step is necessary or sound will continue to come out of your computer’s speakers and not the headset. In terms of quality, the sound they produce is loud and clear. There is a decent amount of bass too. There’s also a button on the headphone that acts like an equalizer and provides two additional sound adjustments (for a total of 3) to tweak the levels of bass and treble. The circular volume knob on the headset is easy to reach and it does a good job adjusting the volume for either the sounds of the game or audio coming from other player’s mics. It’s nice that you can adjust these setting independently. To do so, you either press the audio button right below the circular volume knob before you adjust the volume, or you press the mic button right above the volume know to adjust just the mic audio. This level of customization built right into the headset is convenient. The headset itself is comfortable and the ear cushions are a soft padded material. I did notice they started to feel a little heavy after using them for hours, but that’s common with most gaming headsets. Overall, I’m satisfied with these headphones.

Decent Headset for PS4 and PC

Decent Headset that works with PS4 or PC with WiFi dongle rated to work with the PS5. The unit works equally well with both the PC and PS4 with no discernible difference other than the balance buttons for voice and game only work on the PC. The sound is decent and has decent spatial qualities. It has to work with the WiFi dongle so no direct connect feature. The battery life is in excess of 15hrs and charges in a couple of hours. USB cable is included but no charging brick. The headset has good adjustments for fitment, but ear cups are locked into one position and fit well. They are fully plastic but have a nice design. This also makes them light. The ear cups have microfiber covering and are comfortable. One thing to note is on the PS4 if the dongle is plugged in the console thinks the headset is there even if it is turned off. The dongle will need to be PC mode (yellow on dongle) on PC and PS4 mode on Playstation (this is blue on dongle) which you select with the single button on the dongle. The Command Center software that can be loaded on the PC do not work with the Gen 2 headsets at this time – so some features and observations may change with an update or Command Center programming. The sound is decent but the max volume is on the low side. The sound is acceptable but not as robust as I am used to. There isn’t much isolation from outside sound so this wouldn’t work well in a noisy environment. Spatial sound is adequate. The mic is tinny and hollow sounding. The headset mic auto mutes when you raise it to the up position. The volume button is sensitive and has no stops.

Great Wireless Headset for Xbox One, Easy to Use

Oh boy, this is the first wireless headset I've used with the Xbox One and it's so easy to use. Just plug the transmitter into a USB port on your Xbox One or PC and turn on the Headset and that's it. Easy to use thumb dial to choose whether you want more game sound or more chat sound, really easy to tune on the fly. The sound is great and there is an EQ button to select various levels of sound, I mostly noticed the setting with a lot of Bass. Teammates had no problem hearing me talking in a normal voice. The mic is of the flip up to mute and is easily adjustable. The headset is very light and the ear cups are BIG. They will go around most ears easily, so no ear pressure for most people and can wear a long time. The adjustment on the bands goes down pretty small, It fits kids, but looks comically big on her average 9-year-old girl's head for reference. These are certified to work on the Xbox Series X/S when it comes out next month. The charge lasts a long time, I have not run it out in four fairly long gaming sessions on Xbox and a shorter one on PC. I really recommend this for its ease of use and simplicity for gaming on Xbox.

These headphones have a great sound and a very comfortable fit. Super easy to setup...just plug in the usb dongle and you're off. I tinkered with the EQ settings, which were a bit confusing because nothing really tells you what the various beeps mean. But all in all they have a great sound regardless of the setting. The bass is good and the depth of sound even better. I used the dolby atmos plugin and got some really good audio in Overwatch. The mic is nice how the boom up or down controls the mute. So just pull the boom down and the mic activates. Overall I would highly recommend these. They aren't too expensive, they fit great, and they sound great too!

This is a halfway decent gaming headset. However I feel for the price of this headset there are many higher quality options out there. This headset is versatile. This headset can be used on Xbox platforms as well as PC. If you are a gamer that goes back and forth between applications this product is quite convenient. The battery life is very good. I just this headset for 10 hours straight without them needing to be charged! The sound is fairly decent but not great by any means. If you are playing a game with more bass tones these were not the best in that range. Also if you are a player into "sound whoring" this is also not the headset for you. One thing that was a mild irritation was where the volume adjustor is located. It can get bumped during came play if it rubs on clothing such as the hood of a hoodie. When it comes to construction these look and feel quite cheep. One item is the mic. Its nice that it can be moved up and down to turn it on and off however it is kind of sticky in movement especially in comparison to other brands. Also not a huge fan of the mic being a flexible piece. Adjustability of the headset lacks also. These were a bit big on my head and did not provide much to adjust this. The pads on these were fairly comfortable. To note these are a light soft foam with a fabric covering (vs the pleather/leather material many have). When adjusted up and down these do not keep their shape around the headband area. They go straight up above the headband which looks and feels goofy and has the potential to catch on things.

This is probably the most comfortable headset to wear that I've ever owned. It's very lightweight. The built in equalizer gives some customization to the sound you hear. It's not going to hold up to the $200-$300 headsets, but if you're looking for a smaller investment and some high quality along with it, this is the way to go. I have used this headset daily since getting it and I am impressed with it's ease of use as well as zero issues so far. Definitely recommend it.

    Great sounding headset

I like the Astro A20 gen 2 headset they are a good sounding headset that are very easy to use and if you purchase the single for the other console you only need o headset to use on both consoles. Let me start with what I really like about the headset before I get into what I fee like keeps it from being basically perfect. The first is ease of use, I plugged in the dongle into my Xbox turned them and and that’s it already good to go. All the controls are on the right ear cup and easy to use. I also really like the sound of these, they are very well balanced. Good amount of bass but the mods and highs still came in very clearly. The also look good, they look much better in person than they do in the photos. Now for what holds it back from being better. The first is no 3.5mm port, if the battery dies or you wanted to use it with your phone or tablet it’s not possible. If it dies you have to wait until you recharge it again to use. And you cannot use these with mobile devices at all. And the last thing that keeps it from being better it probably the most important comfort. The headset is ok in the comfort department. The materials used on the earcups and headband are soft and comfortable the problem is they are both very thin. The ears cup pad is not very thick and my ears touched the inside it did not bother me too much but I do know some people that their ears touching the inside does bother them. The thickness on the material for the headband is also very thin. Did not offer a lot of cushion and that actually bothered me than my ears. After long stretches of time I had to reposition the headset because the cushion was just too thin. I understand these are some of the things you get for a wireless headset at this price range. Overall I think this is a very solid headset and great that you can have them wireless for both consoles. They are just a bit shy from being great.
