I have the PS4 version of the A40 TR, and never had an issue. within a few days of purchase, I noticed audio drop off when turned up past half way. The volume knob needed to be tapped lightly a few times, in the right way for audio to fully come back. I'm not a picky person, so its not a deal breaker. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital and having surgery and passed my window to make an exchange.

Have had for a good bit and honestly love these things. I loose how you can change the side of the microphone, and the endless customizable add one you can do. The amp is great as well. My only complaint is the paint. A lot of it is coming off already and I don’t use these roughly. I take good care of them, don’t drop them etc. and the pain is starting to come off and I haven’t owned these very long.

the a40 sound so nice. upgraded to the a50 today for the wireless and its meh. reversed audio for the new a50 i just bought.

I use these for Xbox and for PC. I've purchased several headsets and keep coming back to these. The comfort is legit. The sound is adjustable and the Mixamp gives you the versatility to have multiple audio sources and adjust the output if you wish to record/stream your gameplay.

Takes some considering with an Series X, this device was out well before the XBox Series X. I connect the USB into the XBox, and the Optical into the TV. USB alone works, but doesn't sound as good. Astro provides an adapter that provides the optical+usb but if one had to go that route it may be worthwhile to just consider a newer headset designed for the Series X.

I love the headphones. I play shooters and I can hear every little detail from enemies reloading to footsteps 100+ meters away.

By far the best headset I have ever owned. I have owned almost every major brand and none come close to the sound level and quality of this headset!!

This is the first time I’ve purchased a (professional) gaming headset and so far I’m impressed. The amount of control you have over your audio is excellent!!!! I can adjust whatever I want on the headset for any game. I love it!! My only downside is that there is no power button to switch the Amp on or off

Got this for a buddy of mines and he loves it. He's a serious gamer and he says it's by far the best headset he's ever had.

Great headphones for streaming! Little hard to use the amp and get it setup but a couple YouTube videos and you’re set!

For a couple a years these have been my go to gaming headset very durable and comfortable. This is my 2nd pair a bit pricey but worth it

This is like having a movie theater on your head. Gaming made right with these. Sound is off tha hook. Price is up there.
