Good headset - Not the best for XSX gaming.

The headset feels and sounds great. Compared to other Astros, the cups for the ears fit really well and didn't make me feel like my ear was being smashed after long gaming sessions. The mix control is smooth, and helps create a great balance of sound. The downside, there is no easy mute button if you are using this for console gaming - so I always was talking out loud to my party even when I didn't mean to. Also, specific to the XSX, there is no way to easily hook up optical support without needing extra supplies since the XSX no longer has optical support - so you have to use the USB, which means no dual use for your headset. yes, there are ways around it but for the price you spend for this headset you shouldn't have to work around something with more money. All in all though, it's a nice headset with some nice features.

Great for gaming but needs better paint lol

This is my 2nd pair because the first pair I had actually blew out a speaker because the in-line mute cable was in weird and caused a crazy loud static then pop. The new pair are fine in terms of audio, the only problem I’m finding now is that the paint is coming off slowly around the headset. If any of you were wondering you have to update the headset when you first receive them in order for you to “connect connect” and actually talk, just YouTube a fast video of what Astro app to download and you’ll be good.
