Excellent sound. Excellent mix amp features for streaming or just the ability to mix volume on the fly while gaming with friends. The headset itself feels great on your head but the quality left me feeling a bit cheap in my hands. I expected them to feel more solid and less “plasticy” for this kind of money. The microphone is awesome. The software and noise canceling is excellent.

The software for the amp doesnt work. The firmware has some kind of issue on their part and no matter how long you try it will not work. If you wanted these for xbox then you’ll run into the same issue. There are better headsets for less or even some with similar features that actually work. Dont waste your money on these until they find a fix for the software…or ever. I returned mine.

This is a great gaming headset. Good sound, super comfortable and easy lift mic to mute feature.

The new Astro headsets are considerably smaller than the previous generation. The headband is too small and I was tugging down on the ear cups to get them over my ears. The clamping force is much higher also. Even if the headband was longer, the headset had already given me a headache from squeezing my head too hard. On a positive not the MixAmp works great and the headset do sound great (like the previous generation).

These are great!! I did have the astro a50s but kept having issues with the receiver all the time and it just got annoying so I went this route and I think they are alot better so far!!! Luckily I bought the no questions asked warranty with the a50s so it didn't cost me really anything to swap them out and I also bought the same warranty again for these!! It's nice having that piece of mind that if anything at all goes wrong they are covered.

Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and good sound quality in the earphones.

The mixer alone is great for your computer set up. If you have a pc this is a must have. You can mute easily and adjust sounds easily. They are so light on your head as well. I love them and am happy about the purchase.

My son loves these. He uses them for online gaming, and the ability to control the audio with the attached amp is a key feature for him. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a gaming headset.

I would love to give these a high review, however I cannot. The sound is great, but only when plugged in to the MixAmp Pro TR. For my case this is unfortunate because if I'm using the Amp, I cannot use the chat feature to talk to my teammates and I play mostly online games so this is a major hinderance. When I have the microphone unmuted, I hear a buzzing sound in my headset, and my teammates cannot hear anything I'm saying. I can plug my headset directly into my controller, but then the audio sounds like something from a $20 headset. I did contact the Astro customer service around 24 December. Since then I have recieved two emails from them. The first one was an automated email stating they will assist me when they could. The second came on Dec 28 asking for my address and pictures of the headset. I replied back with the requested information and have gotten radio silence from Astro since then despite repeated attempts to contact them. For a headset that cost $250 you would think there would be better quality of product and service.

These or the a50(wireless main difference) are the best ive tried so far. I tried a few different brands but none gave me the sound and footsteps quality I was looking for like the astros did. So if you're trying to get the edge on the competition pick one of these up! Some of the presets are good but the eq settings really lets u take it to the next level. Plus it comes with lifetime dolby atmos(download seperate app to activate).

For me, it took extra effort downloading and updating software just to begin. I prefer TurtleBeach's audio.

Great headset the instructions are not clear and you need to download the Astro system on your pc and plug the unit into that to update it and save changes before using it. Other than that great headset. Use YouTube for help

These are great if you don’t care about the low end frequencies. There’s almost no base whatsoever. But the mids and highs are pretty define
