Had to replace a set. Was very fast in the return line, she was really helpful. Got a up grade, from the one he had. Everyone was really great helping us. Love Best Buy.

The best-wired headset and maybe the best headset overall according to the review. Unfortunately, I couldn't use its capabilities due to a lack of software support. I was not able to use the Mixamp Pro TR. I tried updating it with a Macbook air and didn't function. Other people in different forums have issues updating it. The headphones are comfortable 5/5 stars. It has expensive customizing features that I was looking into but since the amp doesn't function, I returned it.

A bit on the pricey side but it's a great value if you pick it up during a sale. Amplifier truly makes this product worth the $$$

Best headset purchased I've made. I had been buying turtle beach headset and was quite disappointed on the 800x after almost a year of use turtle beach headset always break. the A40 however had a great quality feel on it. Love the option for the sound and its really loud. Makes me a better gamer for hearing those faint footstep.

These Astros work great. The only problem I’ve had whit it is the wire shorts out but you could always buy another wire for a very low price

I love the sound that these produces but they were very difficult to set up. I had major issues using the optical to set up dolby atmos. Which also prevented the mic from being used when trying to talk to online gamers

The sound quality is as excellent. Can also say the same for the comfort. The astro app offers decent eq customization and quite a few other useful options. I hate to say this but thats the end of the positive part of the review, sadly enough. My experience this product has been plagued with issues from the time i hooked It up. Although fixed now, When i first got the headset, getting the mix amp to get it to connect to my profile was more difficult than using a fork to eat soup. Even with following the directions carefully, unhooking and rehooking it up multiple times due to the aforementioned problem to make sure i wasnt messing up anything. Now, In order to have a functional chat i must unplug my optical cable (XB1), otherwise i cannot hear my team mates talking to me. Unplugging the optical cable makes it sound like some dollar tree ear buds, which defeats the entire purpose of the mix amp. Now for the customer service. You may as well tie a letter with your issues to the foot of a pidgeon and tell it to take it to ASTRO hq for you. Same effect. Ive completely given up on trying to get my issues fixed. Its been 6 months, and ive gotten the same old "did you watch the set up video?" "Try hard resetting your Xbox" "Are your settings correct?" "Have you tried asking the mix amp nicely to fix itself?" or just send me straight to the set up guide. This headset is purely priced based on hype from back in the glory days of call of duty. If it didnt have Astro on the box it would've been discontinued by now. For $300 dollars there are FAR better options. You'd be better off buying steel series arctic 9s or some audiophile headphones and a stand alone microphone. If i had a warranty or some way of returning these for store credit instead of another set, theyd be on their way back already.

The product needed a firmware update to work through my new Series X and when connecting it to a controller there's always white noise. Although I hope when I get it updated it'll work, but for now its.. Not that great. Definitely comfortable and durable though!

Good headphones. Hear the slight difference in the sound quality of the mix amp and the M80 amp. But not plug in and play. You have to update before using and also play with the sound in order to find the perfect adjustment for personal preference
