excellent headset for the xbox x, just make sure your set up makes sense with all the cables.

My rock musician teen is very satisfied with this headset. It’s comfortable, has great sound mixing capability and easy to activate.

The headset itself has no sound improvement compared to the Astro A10’s. I originally only purchased a pair of A40’s without a amp and the A10’s actually had more bass to them needless to say I was super disappointed so I returned the A40’s went to my local Best Buy to get the pair that included the amp and was branded for Xbox series x it came with Dolby atmos license I updated them to be able to be used on Xbox. Now the amp is literally just a volume control and voice chat control you can adjust on the fly as opposed to using your quick menu you don’t have to stop your gameplay to adjust it is the only pro do I think that was worth $250 to do? Absolutely not I did keep them though however my advise to anyone who wants to see the difference I’ll just tell you now there isn’t any a good idea would be to just buy some A10’s 50-60 and then buy the mix pro amp as a separate piece $130-140 you can save yourself 70-60 bucks and get the same sound experience. The only difference between the 10’s to the 40’s is the material used to build them the 10’s are mostly plastic very durable and the 40’s are a bit heavier cause they have metal and if you really care you can get “mod kits” to customize the appearance if you really care about that then the 40’s are perfect for you

The headset itself is amazing but the amp that comes with it is impossible to update I’ve tried everything to update it so I could use it on Xbox and it keeps giving me errors I’ve contacted Astro support and they just tell you to reset the device your trying to update it on

They sound great with everything I've used them for, easily the best headset I've ever owned. If you dont mind wires, its great

The sound quality is excellent as well as the microphone. Having the mixer capabilities is the main reason I chose this and I’m more than satisfied.

Headset is good but i could not get the mix amp to work at all with my xbox. Works on pc

Never have any issues with Astros. Super high quality and almost impossible to break even when you throw them down when mad at a game lol.
