Great headset but needs the Mix Amp Pro

It’s also a tad low when it comes to volume so that was a big no no. I ended up returning it for the A40 TR + Mix Amp Pro combo instead. If you don’t care do the Mix Amp Pro or volume then get this one.

Lately I've been using more audiophile choices paired with external mics but I still keep this pair around just in case. Mic is great, but you really need the Astro mixamp to make these come alive for console (or some equivalent on PC)

They are heavy duty and feel and look really nice. He says the sound is great and for him, that they are pretty noise canceling. My only complaint is that I can hear everything he is listening to. Loud and clear. So, good for listener, not so good for those around. But still, great quality overall.

Could be good for some... Hurt my head/ears...

These won't be as comfortable as some say it is.... Take it as a lesson from me.. I took them back the same day.... Even though they sound great, They aren't worth the pain! But for everyone else... Great purchase. At least these don't have that fake leatherette every other product boasts on their headphones, So I'll give them that!

The colors picked and 10yr pieces look amazing. I got A40 nearly 9yrs (they work still). This continues that premium feel and sound. My friends have told me that the mic sounds great. The sound so far is clear and hasn’t let me down for any game type. Get these if you can.
