The A40s is a great headset for gaming. I used to have A50s (wireless) I went back to wired, because inevitably wireless start to glitch out.

I have to admit, I had a rocky start with this set of headphones. I purchased my first pair from Best Buy and the mixamp volume control nob did not work at all. I sent multiple emails to Astro and they were willing to send a new mixamp to me, as long as I mailed my current mixamp back to them first. I didn't want to wait that long, so I took the entire headset + mixamp back to Best Buy and they exchanged the entire thing for a brand new one. This new set works great!! The surround sound is unreal in Battlefield... I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Great sound look cool but the cords are annoying. It's worth the extra money for wireless.

Great headset won’t buy anything but Astro gaming. Comfort is by far better then any headset on the market and the sound quality can’t be beat.

I mistaken got the ps4 model instead of the Xbox one version but I was able to try it on PC and the sound quality was amazing. Headset was very comfortable also.

The sound and comfort cannot be compared. I've owned at least 5 other gaming headsets and these blow everything else out of the water.

For being a wired headset which I typically use wireless, this headset is great especially if you game in front of your monitor. Nice features are that you can use this with ps4 or pc, and you don’t necessarily need to use the mix amp but if you dont use it you may as well for just the headset version. Audio quality is great and I “test drove” several headsets to find the perfect ones. Quality is there and the nice thing is mod kits are available to change the look of your headset

Best headset you could get. The most comfortable for long gaming sessions. Sound quality is the best in a gaming headset that I've come across.

Out of this world headset. Brings next level sound quality and comfort. This headset is little pricey but believe me they are absolutely worth it.

Absolutely love this headset. I use it for ESO and everyone can hear me clearly, and the changeable settings are amazing. a must have!

I bought these but quickly realized that they are not what I'm looking for. these headphones require you to sit next to your ps4 but I like sitting on my couch 8 feet away so I went turtle beach wireless for about $100 maybe when I get a nice "gamer" set up I would look into getting these headphones again.

I got the A40s after returning my (wireless) A50s because I couldn't get them to stay connected on my network. There were some slight fit differences, but nothing major. The sound is great, and connecting to the PS4 wasn't a problem because I bought the PS4 version of the headset. My A50s I had used with both my PS4 and my XBox One, and with the A50, I could use the same mix amp for both consoles. I was a little frustrated initially when I tried to connect the A40s, though, because I can't use the PS4 mixamp for the XBox One and had to work around it by plugging the mute cable into the controller, but I've got the headphones connected to the XBox One now (without the mixamp) and working fine, and the headset overall is great. I did like the OEM Sony Gold headset, but these are a nice upgrade, especially the surround sound!

Looked this up online and saw amazing reviews. Asked multiple people and they all agreed it was amazing. Coming from a gamer it is one of my favorites headsets that I have ever used.

I needed a wired headset and this checked all the boxes. Great sound for the price and very comfortable on the ears

i always brought the sony wireless stereo headset i had all 3 of them and it was time for a change for something new i heard great review from astro product and this was my first from astro and the sound it really amazing sound to my ear
