The sound quality is amazing, the surround sound helps in competitive gaming, and they are incredibly comfortable.

Was going to buy Turtle Beaches but read the reviews on this one and all great games have this one. Personally, great headset and love having the upper hand when I'm playing against an opponent and hear them coming. Awesome product all around. Only thing, just hate carrying the amp with the headset but that's volume control.

Upgraded from the Turtle Beach 500P's. And I have to say these are amazing! The A40's blow them out of the water! Love the mix amp and the ability to wire in my cell phone to take calls or listen to music in the background. Clear crips sound. Never any buzz noise. These things are so good that you will have to mute other players with bad head sets because these will amplify how bad those headset mics sound. Top notch, best headset for the money!

I took back my turtle beach elite 800 for these and been amazed ever since, the mixamp is awesome and customizing your presets is real easy!

These headphones have very good sound and a food mic. They are super comfortable.

The Astro A40 is a great headset stand alone but add the mix amp and it makes it perfect

Wow is all I need to say. This headset is amazing, well to be honest I really don’t think it’s the headset. Don’t get me wrong the headset isn’t bad but the mix amp is the money maker. That mix amp makes the the world of difference. I previously bought the hyperx alpha to play on pc and was so underwhelmed. I returned them and bought this. I made the right decision buying these.

I watched a few YouTube reviews of these headphones before deciding to purchase them myself. They sound great hooked up to my PS4. The mix amp is also a great addition. I can turn up or down chat volume mid game without having to go to the settings screen on my PS4. They sound rich and clear. I would recommend if you have the money to spend and want a very nice quality pair of headphones for online gaming an chat.

I owned the A50, downgraded to the A40 so I didn’t have to charge my mic. Some people give negative reviews because of static sound. Static sound through headset is caused by a bad mic, static on receiving end means headset was not setup properly / or the wires were not plugged in fully. This headset is great for shooter games especially getting the edge on hearing footsteps.

I am a Twitch streamer. I mainly play games on my PlayStation systems and I use both OBS and a capture card. I needed a pair of audio cans that give me an immersive experience, and also give me a choice to include my audio party chat into my stream! After lots of research, I stumbled upon Astro and their newest TR edition! Which is a headset made for streamers! My only issue is the steep price, but you are paying by for both the mix amp and the headset so it is an good deal! For everything that I want and use, this bundle exceeds my expectations. I would highly recommend it for people that stream or play a lot of multiplayer games!
