It may be pricey but i highly recommend these. upgraded from the PS4 Gold headset, and these astros blow them out the water. Good quality build, sound is crisp and clear. spend the extra cash

These are comfortable with good sound quality. I can hear more details with them than on my beats. I use them for Fortnite mostly but they are good with other games as well. There was some difficulty with white noise when first using and adjusting the AUX but that stopped after a few uses.

I purchased 2 of these for my grandsons, Last Christmas I had purchased 1 of these for my oldest grandson, he loved it, so obviously I had to buy the other 2 boys a set too.... They love them

Astros have changed my headset game for the rest of my life, the mix amp plugging into my pc and ps4 is so nice. Highly recommend for Anyone out there.

I've tried multiple headsets from Corsair, Astro, Turtle Beach, and Logitech. The Astro A40 with Mixamp Pro ended up not being what I expected from an expensive headset. Now remember, this is all subjective, not all will feel the same. With that being said. The A40 had great quality but without the noise cancellation. At the price point I felt it should have a premium leather (Pleather) ear cuffs with memory foam. The microphone seemed to come out great. (according to a friend that I game with). The sound quality was good but could've sounded a lot better. I've tried the Astro A20; the Astro A40s do not have a night and day difference in sound quality that would be worth the price difference in my honest opinion. The build quality of the Astro a40 seemed solid. I've always liked the build quality of Astro's headsets. But for the price, I do not believe it's worth getting without having noise cancellation ear cuff with leather and memory foam and not having a huge sound quality in comparison to the Astro A20.

He was so excited about these and he loves them! But make sure to get the warranty! A family member broke them and thanks to the warranty we got a replacement pair right away.

Worth the price and game quality. Would buy again!

Works great for my ps4 pro also if you want to walk away from your console but continue chatting you can disconnect from mixamp and connect it straight into your ps4 remote woohoo

This is a great headset, great presets for different audio preferences but a nice additon of the ability to customize audio through a PC or Mac. 4 stars just for the fact of comfort, the headset is a bit heavy which makes it a little uncomfortable and I've used a few other headsets that seem more comfortable.

Two years later this headset still works amazing. After using PlayStation headsets that were wireless this headset was a great upgrade.

i really like this headset so far. it allows me to receive audio through the headset and my elgato at the same time so that i could produce videos for others' enjoyment.

These headphone while they do have amazing sound can be a pain with the very lose wire connected to the actual head set. I’ve had a few times where sound was distorted or one time a cery sharp ringing came through, not sure why but a quick unplug and plug back in fixes it quickly.

Originally had the Xbox one A40s then switched to these. Both headsets were great but I upgraded to this so I could swap between PS4 and Xbox easily. Have to use Skype on Xbox though only downfall.

This headset is awesome! Great quality sound, especially for first person shooters! I've had turtle beaches and decided to give these a try and I must say the sound is far more superb.

I had the Astro a50 wireless headset before these. I love them but heated charging them. The a40 are great and I believe the sound is crisper. You won't be disappointed with this headset.

These are the best gaming headphones that you can buy. I bought them so I can recored game and party chat for my stream. The mix amp works perfectly with everything.

These are worlds better than the headset I was previously using. However, having the cord there is annoying and the headset is relatively heavy and can be uncomfortable during long periods of gaming. The mixamp is a nice touch though. Premium sound quality for sure.

Picked this up while on sale on Black Friday. I’ve always wanted Astro headsets and this definitely did not disappoint. Feels great and comfortable around my ears.

I've owned 2 different turtle beach headsets before this one and they don't come close to how good this headset is. The headset is so comfortable and light I can use it for 4-8 hours straight

Purchased this Head Phone Set for X-Mas for my son for his Gaming use. He loves it. Nice distinct clear sound. Great use to communicate with his gaming friends/
