The sound quality is amazing, and the features are fantastic. I love being able to listen to my game volume, chat volume, and one other sound source (music, YouTube video).

Once you configure it to your liking these are a great headset. Great sound, mic could be better. I will recommend downloading the mix amp software from the Astor web site.

If you have the money to spend they are amazing. My only real problem is they are a little heavy after long sessions so I would give more like 4.5

Everything about this headset is great, it looks good, it sounds good, it's price, but if you are gonna use everyday like myself is totally worth the price.

They're good but far from awesome. I chose the a40 over the steelseries because this set you can adjust the earpads. Technically speaking the astro a40 is incomplete since for an additional 60 dollars you can get noise canceling earpads and an upgraded mic. I'm sure there's something better out there or the technology for awesome gaming earphones with true 7.1 is years away. Oh the sound. Pretty clear! Not too loud which was a big disappointment. The reason? These earphones themselves are powered by an auxiliary cable that connects to the mix amp. The simulated 7.1 is reasonably accurate if you play resident evil which this cans are a must.

If you want a great sounding gaming headset buy these.I bought the Astro a50 headset those are trash save a few bucks and buy these you won't regret it.

I currently use this with a PS4 Pro and Xbox One S using two different mixamps. It works great and I recommend this product to anyone seeking quality sound.

Astro has always made quality headsets, the price is subject to how much you want to spend on gaming. I think it’s worth every penny.

Excellent headset without spending too much. The quality is great and makes you feel like in the game. Communication between players is clear without any delay.

The headset is great but while on chat the mic cuts off while you’re talking so the other people in the chat can’t hear you so you so you have to keep repeating yourself or speak louder. other then that i love them they are so comfortable.
