Works excellent on fortnite and call of duty, best gaming headset I’ve ever owned

I actually really like this headset. I had the A50 before but I believe this set is overall better.

Glad to have purchased this product. Works wel with the PS4 and PC. Can't complain about anything.

Astro A40 TR sound isamazing for action and first person shooter games. You can really tell if the enemy is behing, front or even below or above you. The mixamp let you calibrate the chat/game audio and you can choose from predetermined EQs or even create your own using a software with a windows PC. The software for the EQs is not the best and that is why I gave the headset a 4 out of 5. The weight is just perfect for long game sessions and the cable length is more than I needed (more than 10ft). The over the ear design is good as block some background noise and the mic quality improved from the last generation to the TR. Highly recommend.

I wanted to buy the absolute top of the line headset for gaming on my PS4 Pro. I had the HyperX Cloud 2 and the sound quality was better on the Astros but not by much. The microphone was far better on the astros. The durability was absolutely atrocious. For your money you should get a well made headset and and MIXAMP, with mostly metal. Instead you get cheap mostly plastic junk that does not withstand the tests of time. The headset brackets are cheap plastic that easily snap. So easily that astro sells the replacements on their website, conveniently for a high price of $25 for literally a tiny thin band of plastic... The MIXAMP was my final straw, I bought the headset April 2018, and thank God I had the Geek squad warranty I bought because Astro would only cover within a year. I rearranged my living room and noticed the USB was incredibly loose and not staying tight. I bought a new micro USB, same issue. I contacted them, got the sorry 1 year can't help you. I don't move the headset setup around often so I just got it wedged to stick and left it, kept using it, eventually it stopped connecting altogether, took it into the Geek Squad and they gave me a store credit for what I had paid and I bought the best HyperX I could find and the sound quality is better, without a doubt. Not the microphone, but I couldnt care less, the game audio is so much better.

First real gaming headset I have purchased, and they are well worth it. Crystal clear!

These lasted exactly 11 months then died. Wish we had bought the extra warranty but they served their purpose and worked great. Kids used these for hours and found them comfortable

This gaming headset is extremely good. Almost too good if there are other people in the house trying to talk to you. You're able to stay completely focused without disruption
