Good very nice nice sound for gaming for music not very good

I like the surround sound with the headset. IT IS AWESOME

I bought this for my son for his birthday to use for his PS4 Gaming System. He absolutely loves it. He wanted a high end headset to communicate with his gaming buddies and he has found it here.

YES a headset that has steel construction instead of full plastic for the ear swivel and extension very well built, sound quality my only gripe is the price but again you pay for what you get

These headphones are very comfortable and not too loud but the sound quality I would say isn't the best although they are great quality headphones. if you're a competitive gamer I would say there's better headphones to buy but these are very good looking and would be okay to use for an everyday gamer.

I bought this for my husband to replace the headset he has had for over 9 years. His mix amp went out on the old set, and he is so happy with this product.

The protection plan from Best Buy makes this well worth the investment. The advantage this gives in certain games to hear footsteps approaching is excellent.

Minor glitches where sound is mute for a couple of seconds. Just change preset and sound will come back. The long cord gets in the way sometimes but dont have to charge it though. Overall great headset and will great for any form of entertainment. Movies,gaming,shows etc.

Was looking at these a while, finally purchased, they are fantastic headphones. Functionally well with my PS4 and have extra long cords which make it easy to use across the room.

if you are looking for headsets for xbox or ps4 these are the ones you wanna get i like the fact you can adjust game volume and chat through the mix amp

I love the astro a40's they are nice, i got kicked out of at least 3 games, because my replays looked as if i was cheating with wall hacks. Nice sound detection on the a40's

I have used this headset for years, and it is the best one i have ever used. Sound is great on gaming systems as well as basic music or phone calls.

I'm an hardcore gamer, if I'm not streaming movies and or shows, I'm gaming. Wear these for hours and they are comfy.

I love this thing.to bad the ps5 doesn’t have an optical port. Going to have to look into other options now

The Astros are great sound quality I would give a 7.5. The mic however I give a 4. None of my friends is play with could hear me at times and ended up not working after a while. I got them for a good deal but used my warranty to get the Sony golds which I love

If/when the headphones worked? They were amazing. TL;DR version: I don't know if I just got a glitched out set or what but for anything around $300 in headphones the following was unacceptable. 1) USB cable was too low grade to work reliably. Replace with a high speed USB 3.0 cable and it began to talk to my computer 2) Could not install drivers because firmware needed updating. Could not update firmware because drivers weren't installed. After a few hours of digging I finally found a manual download to install and break this loop. (at every turn the company site pretty much sends you to the automated control program that wasn't working correctly in the first place) 3) Required me to reboot the computer to use them. I could go from them back to normal speakers but I could not just hit the power switch on the Mixamp and have the computer go to headphones. Very obnoxious when your MMO team is waiting for you and you have to go through all that just to get on your voice program. 4) Entire time the data cable (speaker + voice) headset cable with built-in mute was fritzing. I honestly have no idea if this weren't the problem with my PS4. Sound would continue to work for me but the voice would randomly stop transmitting. 5) Worked for 15-20 minutes top then stopped transmitting voice both on PS4 and PC. 6) PS4 time! I tried using it as USB headphones to the PS4 but after 1-2 minutes it just started a high-pitched beep. Then I split it with USB computer mode as microphone and optics as sound. This worked for 15 minutes then stopped working on my PS4 altogether. (Note the sound quality was indeed amazing for those 15 minutes) Usually when I see reviews where people are having trouble with a product it's usually due to not reading the instructions or not realizing Windows is the one messing with them and not the product. This was not the case.

One of the best gaming headsets I have. For the money I spent I’m not mad because this gaming headset is extremely reliable.

It was working well. Comfortable to use, but the wire did not last long. The wire frayed close to where it is connected to the headphone.
