I do not know how to use it. Can I exchange it for other product?

I returned the turtle beach elite 800 for the ps4 and picked this one up. I liked the elite 800 but it was just uncomfortable for long gaming sessions. this astro is the best out there for comfort and sound. I have also had the astro a50s gen1 and gen2 and I liked the gen1 but the mic stopped working after a few months and when I returned them to best buy I picked up the gen2 version and the mic picked up a lot of background noise. I have to admit that I was not expecting th a40 tr to do well with out the mod kit because of the other problems I have had with the a50 gen2 , but the went well above my expectations. I also purchased the bops3 mod kit and returned it because it made the headset very uncomfortable just like the tb elite 800, and the new mic was so much bigger than the original one. this headset is the most comfortable I have ever used and the sound quality is second to none and the mic works very well and does not pick up the background noises and everyone in the chat party say that it sounds better than the others. I hope that this review helps others decide because I usually do not write reviews.

I had some issues with it connecting with other devices that I had.

This headset is the best ive used so far and it is worth the $250 ok,buy it if you want to dominate the game.

I’ve had these for nearly 5 years now, and I honestly cannot complain. They’re a bit dirty and scuffed up sure, as anything would be after so many years of use, but the sound quality has remained as good as it was on day 1 of ownership. At this price, you truly can’t beat the mixamp headset combo, it’s such a great pairing and it works seamlessly with PC, PS4/PS5/xBox, and just about anything you can plug a Optical Audio, 3.5mm jack, or USB interface into! 10/10 would buy again.

I did read several reviews and I already have the xbox1 version of these headsets so with that being said it was the overall comfort that had me wanting a pair for my PS4 Slim. Here is what I didn't know but right out of the box you cannot use the mix amp for the Slim version of PS4 because it does not have an optical cable port. Needless to say I wasn't to happy since nothing was on the box saying anything additional needed for the Slim. If you purchase this for your Slim you will need the hdmi to hdmi + optical adapter. Not that expensive but not everyplace carries it either. You will be able to use the headset but you won't get the full function of it until you get the adapter. Also make sure to follow the directions and go into setting and make the needed adjustments. Yes I still recommend the headset I just wish it was out there about getting the adapter, it would've saved me another trip to the store. I wear glasses and have no issue using this headset for hours at a time.

Wow! went into best buy looking for new headphones for ps4 for online. Came out with a pair of these Astros. I used to buy the cheaper brands and decide to go all out on these and Im glad i did. they sound so amazing and you can hear everything so clear. love these headphones!

I got this headset on sale and it was well worth it

My BF said he likes it. He uses it with his PS4 to play destiny.

I've used Astro A40's since they first came out and they've always been the most comfortable headsets I've owned. I can wear them all day and they never hurt my ears.

I just wanted to write this and inform some of you. I bought these from best buy because they did the price match with Amazon. I wanted to fall in love with these headphones from the moment i opened the box to writing this review. Headphones feel great but that's about where it stops. The first headphones had a tin can sound with mic problems. I updated all firmware and tried just about every setting to get the mic to work clearly with no audio issues or sounding nasally. I took the first set to the store because of the mic problems. I got home set up the new kit and in the first hour the mix amp had issues . Audio would crash constantly which I didn't have with the first one. I uninstalled the command center and updated the firmware same issues appeared back. Mic issue was fixed because of the new mic everyone could hear me clearly which was good but i had a faulty mix-amp this time which kept crashing. I spent 3 days researching and trying just about every setting possible in the Astro command center messing with the equalizer settings the match the $100 turtle beach headphones I have . I listened to music played in game with it hooked up to my computer adjusting settings in real time to get the mids to pop and i just couldn't accomplish that.I tried one last thing to buy hooking the headphones to the computer without no mix amp and using my computers soundcard and i finally realized why i couldn't get the sound I was looking for that my turtle beaches had. The headphones just doesn't have decent mids. The bass is great and the highs are ok but the mids in this department is severely lacking. In the end i had to return these because of a failed mix-amp and a mediocre headphone.

I have nothing but good things to say about these headsets. To begin with, the mix amp is probably the most useful item to have if you own a console and a PC. You never have to switch between the two as the mix amp basically merges the two audio's together. The best example of this would be, if you want to listen to music on your computer while playing a game on console, you have the ability to do so. Furthermore, the audio these headsets provide are outstanding. Best that i have tried so far.

Sound quality is great. I mainly use it for fps games and clearly hear my surroundings.

So I bought one of these back in 2016 and loved them. Sadly though my right earphone died on me so I warrantied it out and got the same thing. Brought it home and got everything setup again, and tested the sound. First thing I notice is that the sound is NOT CENTER, it was as if the center of sound I should be hearing was 10 degrees to the left side. So I returned it, next day, just assuming that it was just a single defect out of the batch. Bought a second one, now this one is louder in the right ear than the left. That's the one I have now I'm going to be taking back, AGAIN. My advice, DO NOT PURCHASE ASTRO'S FOR A WHILE. They apparently released a batch with severe wiring defects and who knows how long it's going to take to replace them. I've already put in a ticket at Astro to have them investigate what's going on. HOWEVER, I will say that surround sound is amazing on these headsets (hence why it's getting at least 2 stars) and the sound quality is equally as amazing. For now, until Astro fixes their quality assurance issue with their wiring, I wouldn't buy one for AT LEAST 6 months or until they release some type of statement that it has been fixed.

Bought for my brothers little brother and he fell in love with these.

I've tried multiple headsets (turtle beaches, tritons, etc) and these are BY FAR the best. The mixamp makes both chat and game sound absolutely perfect. You won't regret buying these. I love being able to Skype on my computer and have game sound through my PS4 at the same time.
