I have been a fan of astros for a while now. They definitely gave this generation a great update. While the headset internals are the same as the generation 2 astros, they now include the ability to swap out the ear cups, side plates and headband to your liking. Where the TR edition really shines though is the mixamp. Redesigned to be completely digital and a plethora of options for the gamer and the streamer alike. You can customize each level of sound that comes out of the stream port. For example, if you want the game volume low, your chat high and the party chat high you can do that. You can also change the level out the sound aux port through that outputs to the stream port etc. Tons of options. You also do not need a cable for chat anymore with the xbox edition as everything is now through the usb while connected to the xbox. All in all, great headset if your looking to upgrade.

They are well worth the money spent! I can’t say enough how great they are!

My son bought these for his xbox one. They work much better than Tritons or Turtle Beach

I absolutely love this headset, extremely comfortable and the surroundsound is amazing, the cords and headset are high quality and the fabric earpads are very comfy and don't make your ears sweat. But overall, fantastic Headset for Xbox one and PC

The Astro a40 just sounds amazing. I can really hear everything! I mean there are things I wasn’t able to hear with my previous headset. On top of that, I can wear it for hours without any discomfort. I’m glad I bought it!

love them can customize the volume and game chat eaisly with mix amp no issues so far worth the money. most comfortable headset i have tried. only thing is mic has to be close to mouth it it is far away you cut in and out.

Sound quality of the headset was extremely incredible only downfall was that I didn't realize that it would require me to be wired to my system this was not for me sound was definitely amazing wiring to the xbox not amazing I recommend going with the astro a 50 completely wireless
