We bought this for my son on Black Friday. We've purchased several headsets in the past (different manufacturers) but this one hands down is the ultimate in sound quality and comfortable fit for his head. Well worth the the price.

The tip top for online gaming! In my opinion nothing even comes close

The sound is awesome however these were returned for the Astro A40 in blue without the mixamp. Although very similar the extras you get with this set were nothing but a problem. My son spent a few hours trying to get them to work. The blue A40s were out of stock in the store however available online. Once he got a hold of the A40s we knew it wasn't him. Best Buy was great with the return.

I got this headset to replace a Turtle Beach headset I had for a few months. The Turtle Beach headset was uncomfortable after about an hour of use, but the Astros are absolutely amazing. They are comfortable for long gaming sessions, the built in equalizer allows for adjusting the headset to sound how I want it to, and I'm even able to hook my speakers up through it so I can use them easily without having to change any settings on my PC. Would definitely recommend for anyone who plays games for an extended period of time.

These headphones have been rockin going on 2 and a half years now. I have had no issues. Sound is great. mic quality is good and definitely a quality headset. 100% recommend over TB headsets...

Comfortable. So much better than cheaper headphones. Add the noise cancelling kit to be totally immersed. Great for gaming. I chose these over the A50s because people reported them having to be reset repeatedly.

They work for gaming on pc and console would buy again

Originally I upgraded to the A40 with mixamp m80. Was not impressed and was disappointed with the sound. I was unsure if I wanted to try the a40s again but a bestbuy employee talked me into the A40 with mixamp pro and I couldn't be happier. I stream Mixer playing pubg on xbox one and my voice is clear and it is easy for me to adjust game and chat volume. When you press the mute button on the cord the lights on the mixamp pro turn red so it is easy to see when you are muted. I also gave the A50s a try and with being wireless those were great but I think the wired A40 with mixamp pro sounded better to me. (Personal opinion) If you pick up Astro A40 with Mixamp Pro you will not be disappointed.

wireless headsets were eating up batteries. this one has great sound quality as well as the mic.

Its absolutely amazing. Best I've ever had. Extremely high quality audio. It's a wired headset, and I was a wireless user... however, i chose to go with this for my Xbox one as a trial and I never looked back.

Just got them. works well, sound is good. Rated 4 because still learning about the features.

I see why these a40's are #1. The quality and comfort level is BARNONE to any maker out there!. I do wish they were cheaper, but you have to pay for quality. The ONLY downfall has to be that..... you cant hook up to both X1 and PC "and" use mic on both. It hooks up to X1 with optic cable and gets mic from usb cable that can goto X1 or PC

It is awesome & I would certainly recommend it to others.
