These headphones are by far the best I have ever owned. I was a Turtle Beach guy but now I’m not. Also got the upgraded noise canceling kit and it make the headphones even better.

This headset is by far the best headset for Xbox One. It is a direct plug and play and does not need any other adapters to use. Also, Astro has the best customer service out there. They never disappoint.

I would recommend this product to any gamer looking.

this one is great my previous washer was this same model but a bit bigger,, great product very effiicient with water and electricity, the model size up is quieter but for the price this one does great

Good comfy headset but unless you just have $200 to $300 to waste.. I'd just get a $100 turtle beach headset. I ended up with turtles. I'm just a as happy with that pair as I was with astros. So don't waste the money.

This headset is not for the average gamer, these things are by far the best thing I have got from Astro, the mixamp allows you to either hear full game volume or voice chat. Buy these!

Comes with the mixamp which allows you to adjust the volume separately between the party chat and the game. It amazes me this isn't included in the A50s. Only downside is you are still wired and connected to the console but you are not connected to the controller.

In our house, headsets come and go. This one, though a little more expensive than I'd like, has so far lasted well without problems. Other versions glitch and don't work for long. I'd recommend the purchase, but also the warranty. It is well worth the $!

Best headset I've ever had. You will definitely not regret buying it. Even though its wired, its doesn't bother me at all cause there is no need to recharge it like wireless headsets.

These where a replacement set for broken pair of turtle beach headset also purchased at Best Buy. Best Buy stepped up to the plate on these with a lost receipt. Best quality headset set out there.

This was purchased as a gift for my son who raves about how awesome the sound is! Crisp and really helps to make you feel like you are in the middle of the action! Would recommend to others.

I purchased this model because I wanted to listen to music sometimes when gaming. While these are as good as any of the Astro models for hearing, I had to speak very loudly or constantly be asked to repeat things. I returned for the proven model without the mix amp. Hopefully the mic will be improved in the future, so I can purchase this model again. If you don't have a deep voice or naturally speak loudly you might love these. Otherwise wait for the next model version. Or maybe I just got a dud. Best of luck if you purchase. As always you have 30 days to return. This is why I always purchase headsets from Best Buy. They will typically match Amazon price anyway, so what do you have to lose if you want to try these. Answer: NOTHING!!!!!!

Solid surround sound for gaming. Pretty good background noise reduction. If the mic isn’t picking up your voice enough, plug it into your computer and adjust the settings

I've always heard that the Astro A40's were perfect for any situation, and they were right. Not only are they perfect for gaming they're also perfect for listening to music

I have been through a few gaming headsets over the last few years. I even bought the A50 wireless version of this same headset in the past and returned it due too technical issues. I am happy to say I have not had any problems with the A40. This is a solid headset with many fans. I do like this headset but I also have a few things I think could have been done better. I can't exactly say it's the best sounding headset but it's ok. I would have liked the alternate ear pads and stand to be included for the price. What I do like is the mini amp. That one piece that allows me too control the incoming mike volume just about makes up for the sound stage I think could be improved. And it did make setting up the headset very easy. But I am still waiting on the one headset that really does allow me too hear a true surround sound. But till that day these will do fine.

I have had nothing but good sound and feedback everybody can hear me I can hear them for the price it's deathly worth it I got nothing good to say about this I would buy this product again
