The audio in this headset is great. It is very comfortable and seem to be durable. Even though it isn't wireless, the cables are long enough so you can keep your distance from the tv if playing on console. They work flawlessly on PC with the companion app.

This is the best headset I have ever used, I love the build quality, the sound and of course the mixamp. The best thing about this headset is you can replace almost any part of it. I bought the noise cancellation ear cups (leather ones) and they work super well. I use the headset for everything and it never lets me down.

The headset is really good. Great sound, great feel, great control. But the problem is that you can only listen to audio from your game. To use as a mic, you need and Xbox one adapter (Separately) and an aux cord adapter (Separately). That's the down side of it.

the mixamp pro has amazing sound and after you set up your eq settings on the pc it only gets better

The sound on this headset is great--did not think it mattered but I compared to the one that came with the console. It was a big difference.

This headset is the best headset I have ever had for gaming and it will probably stay that way. There were no problems, even tho I expected more from the Mic but overall it is worth the money to buy this headset. I started YouTube and started streaming(Twitch:realdiegolopez)(Youtube:DiAYEgo) and it works fantastic I love the headset!!

Could not be more pleased with the product. Set up out of the box was easy, lesson learned MAKE sure you have the headset on facing the right direction. Played my first game with the headset on backwards, took me a little bit but it was an easy fix. Very Pleassed I went with the A40's w amp.

I have owned this headset for over 2 months now. I have used this headset extensively, equating to about 4 hours per day for 2 months. When I first used the headset, I noticed that when I turned on Dolby digital surround on the mixamp, the sound became muffled, it echoed, it sounded absolutely unacceptable for a 250 dollar headset. I researched for many hours on the Astro forum to find a solution, only to find that many other people are experiencing the same issue. Astro support will only deny that there is a problem and wants you to send in your unit for inspection. They will send it back and say they were not able to replicate the issue described. Do yourself a favor and research the honest truth about this headset on the Astro Forum under community support before making the decision to purchase these. I have no idea how there are so many five star reviews on this product. These headphones sound terrible in dolby digital mode and the support for them is even worse. Please do yourself a favor and spend your money on a different product.

If you want to step up your game a good headset is a must. These are perfect. Much better than the turtle beach headsets I've tried. Also look into a scuf controller if you have the $$$

I've had Astro headsets for years, my old pair of A40s finally died and I knew I wanted to get this pair as the replacement. I play primarily on Xbox One, but also do some PC gaming, so this made the most sense over the A40s with the M80 adapter. When I plugged everything into the Xbox, first thing I noticed was the static, and I mean a lot of static, it would get progressivly louder as time went on. I tried muliple configurations, including just plugging the 3.5mm jack into the Xbox Controller directly but the static remained. I was also in a Party with other people and they were complaining that the static was coming through the mic as well and blasting their ears. I returned the headset the next day. I'm currently using an old pair of A50s with the terrible AG1 cable for Xbox, hoping to try a different cable in the future. Overall very dissapointed in the quality of this product given the A40's I had for over 5 years.

Get wirless its wayyyyyy better once again GET WIRLESS it sounds better and the mic is wayyyy better. It is so worth the exrta 50 bux. You also can custimize the mic more then this one

Works just fine for Xbox, but for Windows, it is a whole different story. Every 15 minutes the headset will lose all sound, requiring the user to remove the USB cable and replug it in. I've tried downloading all the software and updating it, and it still happens. I would strongly recommend against this headset if you are planning to use this for PC.

Do not buy this headset they are they worst headset ever created i have had 4 a40s tr headset and every 5 or less months the usb cord that goes into the amplifier it gets loose, bent, after a few months the paint comes off the amplifier is way to much money to replace it for a new 1 i wish i would have known this from 3 4 years ago this headset is on my DO NOT BUY LIST and i have had turtle beach headset and they where 10 better then theys and they are cheap

Bought a set of the a40tr two days ago updated the firmware like recommended then hooked them up to my Xbox one x and got nothing but static. The worst static I’ve ever heard. Spent $200 on what was supposed to be one of the best headsets around and was the worst. Not one of the worst headsets I’ve owned but it WAS the worst I have ever owned.

what a waste. Ive had this headset for a little over a month now and it has officially stopped working. no sound through the headset and no voice output. terrible product especially since best buy is selling it. your better off going through astro website to get a quality set. never again best buy.

Worst headset ive ever had , this headset could be worth $2 by the way the mic is . would not reccomend headset , because it wont last for a day and a half :)
