This gaming headset is awesome super loud and strong and love how you can change everything to your liking

I was very disappointed with this headset. I purchased the name brand 300$ set to avoid issues, but I still found many of them with this unit. Yes I did update the software through the website, no it didn't completely fix it. When I first got this unit the battery was practically dead. I charged it completely which took approximately 6-7 hours. Then I was not able to hear anything through them. After I updated the firmware through the Astro website (hooking headset to PC via USB) I was then able to hear. However, the cut out for 2-3 second every 30 seconds. Using this headset is a really good way to become dead in COD. These conditions were experienced with me seated directly in front of the cradle and xbox approximately 10ft back. Finally, the max volume was not loud in any way. I was not trying to induce hearing loss, but you will never even have to worry about these as I never turned it down from max volume due to it being pitifully quiet. I returned this and purchased a Turtle Beach Elite headset as a replacement. This may be an unfair comparison as the turtle beach unit I purchased is wired and not wireless, but it's a night and day difference. Both the sound quality and Volume are markedly improved with the Turtle Beach Unit. best buy was of course great with the return. I highly recommend saving your time and money by not buying this unit. I wasn't expecting perfection, but the best way I can put this is I would have been dissatisfied and returned them if they cost me 50$ much less the 300$ I paid, and I promise that is absolutely not exagerated in any way.

Not worth it for the money. I’ve owned all different type is of headphones, especially astros, but this one in particular for the ps5 isn’t anything like I’ve received from them in the past… You need an adapter for them to work on the ps5 for some reason. There was way too much work required to get these things operational. It doesn’t have to be this hard.. or expensive on my opinion. If I’m paying 340 dollars for something my expectations are high considering what is out there.. the Sony Pulse headphones I had before were 120 bucks, easy to use, durable, longer battery life, seamless connectivity the list goes on.. I’ve owned a40’s for both Xbox and ps4 they worked great. I’ve owned a30’s a20’s, never had an issue. I feel let down by Astro honestly I had such high expectations for this headset seeing as I’ve pretty much grown up using their product throughout the years… I’m just kind of wondering why did I buy this product? Because I had faith in Astro gaming! It’s 2023 Astro, get it together..

I am very disappointed in Astro. I have the A40 TR and they are amazing. When I first got these they looked amazing and felt good but when I went to turn them on and make them work they just wouldn't pair with my computer. I contacted Astro and they just said you restart the headphones but that did nothing. I returned them and exchanged them for another box and the new box was the same issue but the new pair of headset wouldn't even turn on and Astro was no help with this they just kept saying to restart the headset.

It is a very good head set over all but the base sometimes doesnt pick up the headset clearly.
