Wasn’t what I was expecting for 300$, was probably just me not used to the headset tho all personal pref.

Brought this home and put it on the charger and went out of the house for a few hours. Came back and it was still at the same battery percentage as it was when I left. Noticed when it was on the charger it had a white light instead of an amber one which it is supposed to have. Apparently this is a know issue with these headsets and it is firmware related but it seems Astro does not seem in a hurry to fix this issue since this model headset is getting long in the tooth. I would not recommend buying these as they lack support and for the $300 you need to spend on them there are a plethora of options. When these do work they have excellent sound quality but it is crazy to spend this amount of money and have a bricked headset due to lack of updates.

I like the headset but I wish the magnets were stronger on the dock, i can’t just set it in there, doesn’t always charge properly, I’ve also had to do a hard reset two times because i lost sound.

Didn’t work that well. We had to replace these with a new set.

This headset is a major disappointment, especially for someone that had OG Astro A40s back in the day. I went from Astro, to Sennheiser, to Beyerdynamic. My modmic died and I wanted to jump to wireless, so I gave these a shot having loved my A40s. So many problems... The ear cans are incredibly small. People with larger ears will feel cramped. The headset is very easily knocked off your head/out of place by the smallest bumps. The buttons on the back get pressed easily, making resting your head on your chair a challenge. The microphone sounds like absolute garbage. It is locked to a bitrate equivalent of a 90s landline telephone, so your voice is muffled and tinny. The audio quality as well leaves much to be desired. I tried both uncompressed PCM over USB and optical input. The cans fail to deliver both rich bass and clean treble. If you adjust the EQ for treble and mid clarity, you lose pretty much all bass. If you adjust for bass, the sound gets really distorted and you lose all clarity from mids and highs. I tried all default EQ (they all suck), made my own (couldn't find a balance), and tried all of thr custom ZEFERENCE EQs which are godly on the A40s. There was no optimal choice. I also struggled with the headset constantly losing audio balance during longer play sessions. An hour of tweaking the EQ to find an acceptable sound stage, only for everything to start muddling two hours in. This headset is a very hard pass for me. I went back to my Beyerdynamics and bought a new Antlion modmic. Very sad
