Seen that you can adjust them on PC, but the Astro app on the Xbox Series X doesn’t detect them.

I owned the original A50 wired headset from many years ago and this is as good as the original. However, my low start rating is due to the base station. It is just awful. You place the headphones into the base station and it feels like they should start charging. The magnets pull the headphones in and you can hear the pins connecting to the headphones. But they don’t start charging. You have to lift them up and set them down 10, 20, 30+ times before it starts to charge them. I’ve never had them start charging the first time I’ve put the headphones into the base station. What an awful experience for $300. I might look into swapping these out for a new pair since this base station actually seems like it is defective.

For PC users, there are hundreds of videos but there are few videos to help Xbox users tune these to play games and hear footsteps. The lack of tutorials and help made me fail to find a nice balance between voice-chat and in-game audio. I'm not a tech expert so this was a huge drawback for me. I'm going to go with a simpler headset and wish for better luck. That being said, the audio you do hear in these sounds phenomenal. These are great for the person who knows how to perfectly tune the frequencies. I'm not that person so we are not a great fit.

Dock charging stopped working. Now the actual battery is dying. Won't hold a charge properly and will drop from like 25% to 0% seemingly without cause. oh and actually I had issues with the Dolby Atmos subscription for PC! It's supposed to just activate a license when you plug in the base station and install everything but it never did. ended up having to deal with Astro's support and they emailed me a Windows Store key to activate a Dolby Atmos subscription. like wtf? buy something else. i am really regretting telling my fiancee how much I liked these when I first got them which convinced her to get a pair a couple months after me. I am just waiting on hers to break now.

They do not disappoint from the moment you get them out the box, setting them up might by tricky for new gamers but a simple YouTube tutorial will instantly make it better.

(Ps5) even advertises that its compatible.. yeah when you buy the xtra 50$ HDMI adapter..
