THE ABSOLUTE BEST HEADS I'VE EVER WORN. I've gone through a few headphones ( turtle beach, artics pro, and more). These by far stand out the best for quality of sound, and durability. 1.5yr later I decided to by the mod kit that adds an extra umph and it was worth it. The only reason for 4/5 stars is because the base station does not charge on the PS5 while in rest mode because of the amount of amp it requires so I have to leave my PS5 on for a few hours to bring these bad boys back to life after they die. I do wish they had removable batteries so that when one dies, the other can replace it while they charge. I'll most likely buy the next gen if they do come out with 1 for the PS5

Very great sound quality with extremely long battery life and plush fit to your ears so almost sounds like you have noise cancelation. Also like the fact your able to switch between a xbox and pc with a flick of a switch

Super lightweight, I went from A40s on a TR pro mixamp to the A50s, Ive definitely noticed that they arent as loud, but the actual quality of the headset is the same if not better. The flip to mute is probably my favorite feature, that and the mobility of wireless. The battery has also yet to die on me, but i dont play for 15 hours at a time!

I was little hesitant on buying another Astro after the last pair of A40 had mic issues but it was directly with the mix-amp. But the A50 work just as good. The only issues is the price point. $300 doesn’t seem worth compared to the SteelSeries wireless headset. Which is half or $100 less. However, it’s still Astro headset so the sound quality is amazing. Even with Dolby Atmos. I had to complains from friends when using the mic and I speak very low. It feel comfortable. Played destiny 2 for 6 hours and felt comfortable. Didn’t feel heavy or needed to put it down for a moment to give my head a break.

Great sound quality for a wireless headset with solid bass response. In-game sounds come through crisp and clear. Very convenient with easy connectivity. Wish that they would have added another USB port so that XBOX and PC chat could be utilized without having to move the cable. Mic quality is good for a gaming headset. Battery life has been great with my initial usage.

Fantastic gaming headphones. Very high price tag but great quality. They ear pads are very soft and feel like memory foam on your ears. Also love the way the charging base looks. It works with the xbox series x but you have to plug it into your computer via usb in order to be able to adjust and hear the game volume. Great headphones but a little pricey!!!

Had to return the first one since it was defective... would not connect to pc at all. But the second one works great. Fantastic headset have had for a little over half a year and working flawlessly. I have more range then I did with the previouse version and the comfort is just amazing as always! The docking station is smaller so that makes for more room on the desk and the subtle change to design is nice giving it a more sleek look. Thank you Bestbuy!

Would rate them 5 stars if there wasn’t a high pitch ringing in the left ear but they are still worth it to me. Other than that they are the best headset. The sound is amazing. They fit my small head. And don’t give me a headache even with my glasses.

Very good gaming headset with a great sound and a clear microphone. Great packaging and very easy to follow setup instructions. Buttons feel great and are easy to use. Pros: Great sound when set up properly Wireless with charging station Microphone side tone Dual console/pc connection for easy swap Ear cushions are very soft for long gaming sessions All of the pieces feel very high quality plastic Cons: Requires $40 hdmi to optical adapter/pass through to get optimal sound and chat mix functionality on PS5 The base connects to console/pc, so it only charges if the system is on or is using an “always on” usb connection Note: this is a personal con, but the headset does not fit perfectly on my above average size head. And as a result it seems like the hinge seems like it is getting additional strain which could lead to premature wear.

good sound quality, fit great, great battery life. i just wish it had more bass. best headphones i've tried to date and i've tried more than a few. would have been 5 stars if it would have had more bass.

Love my new Astro headset! Has excellent volume and sound quality. Mixer works awesome for chat and game adjustment. Love the online eq adjustments and the sound connections are excellent and plentiful. Took only seconds to hook up. Headset is comfortable and easy to wear for hours with no pain or irritation. Headset easily charges in the dock.

These are some great sounding headphones but, they seem to have connection issues with the Xbox series S. My son says every once in a while they’ll just stop working. Sometimes his online chat will quit working but, he can still here the video game audio. Then sometimes everything will quit working all together. We’ve made sure it was updated and charged but, it still happens every once in a while. Like I said these are great when they’re working. But, given how much these cost? We shouldn’t be having issues like we’re having.

I upgrade from Gen2's into this Gen. Gen2 battery was horrible which resulted in having to essentially have wired headphones. The sound from Gen2 to Gen5 is about equal. Battery life is great! The docking station is amazing plus you have the option to wire charge if you had to, FYI, I haven't had to do that, I get 6 hours EASY out of them with plenty of "juice" to carry me to 10 or more hours. Also, the fact that I had Gen2's from 2010 to 2020 should illustrate how great Astros are. I broke the headband on my Gen2s and Astro repaired for me. In fact, the only reason I bought these was the design flaw of the roller knob which resulted in the inability to modify the volume on the headset. I see the knob is the same here but it feels better made and I got the geek squad plan if need be Independent drivers, exquisite sound quality, 5.1/7.1 surround gives you the edge to hear the pitter patter before it is too late!

Definitely a cool looking headset with outstanding audio and mic quality. Also an extremely comfortable feel on the head. Pricey, but your head and ears will thank you, especially if you wear them for an extended period of time. Also, worth the investment if you want all the above, plus the freedom to move around wirelessly. Great battery life as well.

BEST PURCHASE EVER! My fiancé’s favorite headset finally went out so we decided to purchase these as a replacement. The sound quality is out of this world. Literally taking you within the game, this allows the advantage over competitive gaming! Setup was easy and controls are straight forward. Can be paired with Dolby Atmos (on XBOX) when you download the app for the ultimate listening experience! One of the most comfortable headsets we’ve owned with cushioned ear cups. My favorite part is the Bluetooth feature. Love not having to connect the headset to a controller anymore. I also like the fact that the resting/charging deck doesn’t take up much space. It’s nice to not worry about charging between uses and helps keep the gaming area tidy. Very happy with the purchase of these. HIGHLY recommended

If you love the feel of Astro headsets, this will fall right into your wheelhouse. After my A40s in 2016, I wanted to move to something wireless. I tried Steelseries and they felt cheap and I did not like the fit. I went back to Astro and got the A50s. Super easy to set up, great sound, low end is a bit muddy but you can EQ them to help with that. Mic sounds top notch for a headset mic and being able to use them on Xbox or PC has been nice. They have were replaced in my setup by audiophile grade headphones Sennheiser HD6XX and a standalone mic, Samson Q2U as my gaming drivers, but, I keep them because there may be days I want to recline on my chair with a controller and they are perfect for those moments I don't want to be tethered by a cord. Overall, if you're used to Astro, you're going to put these on and be right at home. Worth the investment if you want a top quality wireless headset. My only gripe is the docking of them and ensuring the charging touch points are on correctly, but, after getting used to how to do it, it's a non issue now.

Works with the new generation consoles. A firmware update is required inorder to use with new consoles as they do not have an optical port. Now ran through USB slot. Very sound detailed, just make sure to fine tune it in the Dolby app (will need to download as well) on console or PC it will be used for. Overall great quality and comfort.

A couple of my friends have recommended the A50's for years. My one friend and I finally gave in and each bought a pair. The sound quality is great, they were extremely comfortable. I say were because within the first two weeks of owning them the cushion that rests on the top of your head pops out. Once I click it back into place it stays in place until I put the headphones back on my head then it pops out again, so now I just don't even use it. On top of that both my friend and I have noticed that there is a ticking/buzzing sound when using the headphones that only gets resolved by resetting your console each time it occurs. I reached out to Astro's customer service, and after spending 4-5 days explaining my problems and providing proof that I actually purchased the headphones the rep said they would send a replacement pair. The rep has since stopped communicating through email and every time I call the customer service number they give me the same runaround story that they will alert the rep and his supervisor that I have reached out without providing a simple confirmation that my replacement has been shipped or provide a tracking number. Honestly probably the worst customer service I have dealt with.
