I picked up a pair the other day and have had nothing but problems too. Doing research and found this subreddit. The headset was completely unresponsive out of the box and wouldn't even charge until I did a hard reset. I couldn't firmware update on my pc and had to use my apple laptop. The audio voice quality is terrible (sound like i'm underwater) as told by friends on discord. The equalizer settings all sound worse than my A50 gen2 and I couldn't find a custom one that was much better. Difficult to get the headset to actually charge even when properly placed in the dock. etc etc. Very disappointing for a $300 headset.

I bought these after getting a different set that failed to meet expectations. They are expensive but work flawlessly.

Great headset when working, but every other month the firmware just fails and the headset will not work untill they release another firmware update. Which is aggravating.

Way over priced and has a lot of connection issues. difficult to set up, and the charging is a hassle.

Work good but after two years started having trouble with charging doc and hearing. Not worth the price.

I bought this product for my daughter because I had already bought it for my son in the past and it lasted a long time with them, but my daughter's product broke down after a year and I had to buy her another brand.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. Review based on his commentary. Overall he think's these are great headphones.

Overall its is a cool, and reliable product, but I just don't know why they put on a motion detector trying to know if you are using it. It seems like great thinking, but it ACTUALLY IS NOT. This means when you put it on your neck, sit back and trying to relax on your chair, it would just turn off, to get it back in you need get put and make some moves to let the headset know that you are using it. I have been searching solution for days, and it seems like it has this "feature" for years and there is no way turning off. If I cant find any solution I will just return it. It is just so F annoying

Worked pretty good for a year or so, and then one day just stopped connecting to the base and wouldn’t work. Tried resetting it, plugging into PC and doing a firmware update. Nothing works- this is a $300 paperweight, and I’ll never buy astros ever again.

Love them, favorite part is the charging station…very convenient

The noise cancelling is amazing, it feels like I am so emerged into the game, it is unreal.

Excellent headset, everything is great. The only downfall is no blue tooth.

Love them great quality you get what you pay for and these don't disappoint

Two issues with the boom mic after only a few weeks. Mute/talk issues and the boom itself is too loose. This is my second pair since February 2019. Previous A50s had constant connectivity issues and battery life issues. The boom and mic worked great. My older A40s lasted approximately 18 months or so. Never dropped or handled rough except A40s were dropped due to cord. I’m just a daily gamer that wants to be wireless. Sound quality is superb but reliable chat is required without distractions.

Great for gaming but sometimes firmware updates and other problems will make you waste time figuring out why they wont connect to your xbox.
