First, chat mixer does not work. I am stuck hearing people’s voice chat volume on a high setting that can’t be lowered. Second, it does not maintain wireless connection. After 5 mins, it disconnects from base station. Will reach out to support and update if I hear back.

Headband piece kept popping off

Sure enough, 2nd day in and the headband popped off. They sounded great, but a $300 dollar headset should not have this type of issue on the 2nd day. Returned and will get something else.

Bought it and returned it in under 24 hours. The set up was annoying but I was fine with it once it was done. Sounds quality was decent but sounded muffled. It was a very comfy headset. There’s no easy or fast way to adjust game/chat settings on Xbox. Overall the bad outweighs the good. Ordered a steel series. Hopefully it’s better. If not I’ll have to go back to using a wired headset.

The problem is updating firmware for the base and headset is absolute hot garbage. Do your homework, search A50 firmware upgrade on Reddit and you'll see a lot of people having problems getting their firmware to update and this has been going on FOR YEARS. I spent several hours trying to upgrade and reset back to original firmware. The workaround that actually worked was installing Astro Command Center on a completely different pc and upgrading which is a totally ridiculous workaround since not everyone will have another pc to update. In the end, I decided not to return them since I'd spent so much time and was lazy to go back to Best Buy. For a top tier headset, the support and firmware update process makes it NOT worth buying imo.
