Understand that you need the adaptor for you to be able to utilize the chat mixer. No big deal right? It is a big deal, using the Adaptor adds another item to your already packed setup and it also isn’t hdmi 2.1 so if you want to utilize the 4k at 120 Htz, you can’t.

Top piece is constantly popping off as u try to place the headset on ur head. Terrible design. Also both pairs i bought, yes i bought two. They both had a constant ringing coming out of the left ear that never stops after you fully charge your headset once. If you have good ears and don’t want the cushion piece that sits on the top of ur head popping out every time you put it on or tighten ur headset, definitely do not buy these. Go with the Astro A50X’s, way better product

450 buck headphones, .15 cent service

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the store said they were no longer selling the gen 3 when i took mine in for warranty not even for order... so i was given a gift card for less than the original purchase price.. a week later they have the exact sane gen 3 a50s in stock they "stopped" selling, so i was forced to repurchase at full price INCLUDING a $130 replacement warranty, which has been 40ish for the two other paIrs ive gone thru. So not only did I come out of pocket to rebuy headphones i had a year warranty on still the week before but i paid 100 bucks out of pocket just to leave w the exact pair.. also they didnt credit me the $460 worth of reward points bc I was given store credit back for the returned pair which they don't credit for, If you cant follow that, I should of paid 40 bucks to repurchase a new replacement pair w warranty(now raised $85) and been on my way.

I don’t understand why so many people like this headset. the only thing i liked was the big earcups. The sound out of the box was horrible. I had to go to reddit to find a good eq setting to have it sound atleast half decent

The headset would not connect to the app, every time it turned off the sidetone would reset and i cant change it because the app didnt work unless I used an outdated version of the app online then 90% of the features don't work. The app rating on windows store where you normally get it is 1.8 out of 5...that should tell you all you need. If you use the app to make your experience and sound what you want (ideal for a $300+ headset) it should work. Astro bought by logitech and now the only astro headset being handled by them is the A30s. Do not buy any other Astro anymore!

Sometimes the connection to the base station is also unreliable even though I have updated the software and switched the mode to “Xbox Mode”. I bought this product completely new for 300$……
