I still use them everyday perfect for ps4. I use them now for ps5. it lost a bit of surround sounds but after firmware update they’re usable if you want full experience, need hdmi adapter sold separately

Sound wise these I would say are equivalent to my Steel series 9x with Dolby atmos enabled. You can easily hear footsteps and which direction they are coming from. The bass isn’t that loud so if you want thundering bass these aren’t for you. The highs are great. The base station and headphones were easy to connect but had some issues with them powering on unless I unplugged the usb from the console and plugged it back it. Chat was clear little to no noise cancellation. If your like me and have a bigger size head these will hurt after a while they are heavy and the clamping force seems like a lot. I ended up selling these for the Arctis 9x which have connection issues as well lol. Pros Sound quality Build quality Atmos included Chat/ microphone Cons Comfort Connection issues Base station Heavy For $300+ they don’t sound as good as cheaper sets.

Love the sound in these things, they are truly AMAZING. Few grips... 1. Likely user error but I cannot for the life of me figure out (internet search/playing around myself) how to balance the in-game volume for voice and game so I can properly hear others talking while also hearing the game. 2. The top cushion on the frame of the headset constantly pops out of the frame at the slightest touch or while putting these on...Terrible design on that. Light research shows many users having this issue and either tape or purchase something to hold this piece on the frame. Otherwise, 100% recommend these to others...once I figure out my volume settings...

Great wireless headset. The charging station is wonderful and easy to setup and connect. The headset is adjustable and feels great even after hours on head. Battery life is pretty good. Sound quality is great and it has background noise cancellation.

Bought this bad boy a while ago for myself. As a heavy fps player let me tell you with their software being easy to setup and plug and play it is definitely worth it. My everyday to go headset for streaming and gaming. Sounds are crisp. Especially when you set everything up correctly you will never miss a footstep sound ever again and the noise canceling is amazing!

They are amazing!! The sound is very crisp and clear. Very easy to use and simple to operate. The cushion on the ear muffs is super comfortable and makes wearing them for a couple of hours easy.

The sound quality is excellent and very light on my head even when wearing glasses. The design of the charger is very good and I have no issue with it not charging.

Sound quality is great, and you can customize it as well (on PC). I use it on my PC & Xbox One X, having a wireless headset is awesome. I'm the kind of person who gets annoyed with wires swinging around, now my problem is no more. *If you get the XBOX One X version of the headset you get a free 2 year subscription for Dolby Access, you do not get it for the PS4 version

Definitely best headset I’ve gotten amazing quality sound is A1 easy to set up comfy on the ears fits perfectly the Dolby feature is awesome and the fact you can customize your equalizers is great

Absolutely phenomenal. These headphones are pricey but they are worth it. The Astro A50s can be used for PS4,PS5, XBOX, and PC. You'll need the Optical adapter to take full advantage of the Dolby sound for PS5. You can also set up your customized sound on PC and use those settings on XBOX.

Great headset, my son was using them mostly, since i work 4 nights straight. I noticed the screw was missing from the headset. So i dont know if it was already loose or something happened and that made it loose. Other than that it sounds clear and crisp.

Awesome headset to use with the PS5, especially if you play FPS. I'd originally bought the Gen 7 Turtle Beach Stealth wireless headset. I went through 3 pairs in 7 days, as I kept having issues, trying to use them with my PS5. After the 3rd pair, I decided to go with the Astro A50. Best decision I could have made. Great headset to use with the PS5. Only issue right now, is that the charging base connects to the PS5. There is currently a SW issue, where the base will not charge, when the PS5 is put into rest mode. I read that there is supposed to be a firmware update, to fix this issue, though it has not been pushed out, to date. So, just know that as of right now, you'll have to leave your PS5 on, to charge the headset.

They're amazing! They're comfortable, have impressive surround sound, and great build quality. Definitely worth it!

The Astro A50 is a great headset. You can hear enemy footsteps in front of you, behind you, to your left and to your right. Highly recommend this headset and even though it is more expensive than other headsets, they feel very comfortable for long hours of gaming.

I use it for my ps4 pro so the optic input is already installed i love it spunds great. Turns off automatically when not using good battery love it!

Great sound/speakers they are amazing in that regard. Best sounding gaming headset I have ever used. Base station is awesome just drop them and theyre charged the next time you wanna play. However the headset I purchased had a faulty clip on the top and would pop out everytime i put them on. Hopefully an uncommon problem cause its pretty uncomfortable without the foam piece that sits on the too of your head. It clips in/ is suppose to be changeable and im assuming the clips were faulty. Other than that a great headset
