Works fine, decent battery life and good quality. Has issues with pairing and the worst part is constant ringing noise when the headset is paired. I've returned the headset and replaced it just to have the same issue.

That's disappointing to hear and it's surely not what we expect to deliver. We understand your displeasure and we will forward it along to the right team so they can look into it. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It’s super comfortable, I will say it’s not perfect. I have a large head and it’s stretched it out a bit where it won’t fit easily in the stand, not a big deal just a minor frustration.

For the price, I expected the construction to be better. The headband has a cheap cushion and the ear cups feel cheap. I have to restart my Xbox X every time just to get headset to pair. You can’t even update the firmware (updating the firmware is also a long and difficult process) through the Xbox even though the base is connected directly to the console. The only saving grace is the sound quality. For all the money I paid, I expected better.

I can hear people reload their weapons from across the map on counter strike I don’t know why they market them for PS4 they plug into the Dolby connection on my motherboard and are the best pc headset I’ve ever owned the mic sounds so clear even with a lot of background noise but these and you will just become sneakier in first person shooters

For Xbox and Windows, make sure you get the Dolby Atmos or DTX app to get the most out of the sound quality. They definitely do not sound as good with Windows Sonic. Otherwise, everything about them is amazing, with the possible exception of the mic. I've had people tell me they can hear my game over the built-in mic and haven't been able to figure out why

I was very excited about purchasing this headset. I have had the Gen2 and Gen3 Astro A50s and absolutely loved them. However, I was very disappointed that the volume was very low at its highest level. It needed an update to get more sound. That’s an inconvenience for me because I do not own a PC. Despite the update bringing more volume I was not impressed with the overall quality. I do not agree with the price. I have used $100 headsets that are better. The wireless is nice. That’s it. I returned them and bought the Gen4 A40s. They are A LOT better.

best sound amongst gaming headsets, however the lack of bluetooth and optionality (other than for gaming) makes the price difficult to justify

Astros make one of the best headsets for gaming. Excellent quality and very durable. All this however does come at a premium price, I did have the 1st gen of this headset that lasted me 4years and was still working but decided to part with it and upgrade, so I will say it is worth every penny.

    Turtle Beach 700 is better

I liked my Turtle Beach 700 better but they were out of stock when I went in for my warranty replacement so I picked this up. Great sound quality don’t get me wrong but the mixing controls for voice vs game volume are not nearly as good as the TB700.And the TB700 costed me half the money. The way the Astro mixes sound and voice it’s easy to accidentally mute your party or accidentally mute your game without knowing it. The TB700 lasted me 23 months before the volume control knob gave out. Probably from dust and cat hair.
