The A50s initially worked great and the sound quality was amazing after changing the mixer presets. However there is a terrible problem with the base station and eventually the headset does not recognize the station and will no longer charge. After overnight charging the headset software will say something like “80% charge” within 5 minutes the headset will die and restarting the software will read “0% charge” because it was actually never pairing and charging on the base station. When addressing this with Astro you will be instructed to clean the pins, update the firmware, or reinstall the command center. I’m a PC and the firmware will never update and constantly read that the update failed. This is a long-standing problem with this headset and countless threads are present on the internet describing this problem. I recommend staying far away from this “premium” headset because you will need another pair within 9 months if you have my experience. Summary: Worked extremely well for about 9 months and now unusable. All attempted remedies didn’t fix it. The command center firmware is terrible to work with, poorly supported, and you may or may not be able to update it. Do not recommend.

I use these for my Xbox Series X, PS5 and gaming computer. Also work conference calls. All around great headphones

Get head set, when you put them on sounds like you have a Bose surround sound right in your ear. It is definitely worth the price you pay

I would've given these 3 stars out of the box but after the latest firmware update they get 5 stars. Make sure you have windows 10 pc/laptop that you can use to update the firmware after purchase. Out of the box the sound was low for a premium headset. The other very annoying issue was the headset wasn't recognized when turning the the xbox on. I then had to unplug and replug in the docking station to get the xbox to recognize it. I happy to say the latest firmware fixes both issues. These replaced my old turtle beach x41s. These were a huge upgrade in my opinion.

Purchased for my grandson. He uses them for gaming on his ps. Prior had the 20 which were good but these have a clearer sound. He's very happy.

The sound quality is great! but don't buy if you're not looking for the best sound... If you just want to chat with good sound, an A10 or A20 is enough.

Good headset, but annoying there is no optical output on PS5, meaning you have to spend another $50 just to get it to work like intended
