$300 Headset nightmare

I went ahead to buy the A50 that is compatible for PC, PS4, and PS5. I didn't have a year with this product. Don't get me wrong the sound quality is superb. I just hate how it malfunctions. A50 was working fine on the PS5 and stopped working 2 days ago. There was no sound playing what so ever and my headphones just stop syncing to the base station. I did the hard reset and didn't solve my problem. I followed every step from the Astro gaming website. I followed every youtube video of how to troubleshoot. For some people it works but I'm not lucky. Even connecting it on the PC with the command center, it fails to update the firmware. There is no way to fix it. The command center would claim my headphones are 100% battery and after the firmware fails to update. It claims the battery is 0% so which is it full or dead? Other videos on youtube claim Wifi or baby monitors can disrupt your headphones. Are you serious a $300 value wireless headphones can be easily interfere by a signal from a baby monitor or other electronic devices. That is sad. I'm currently using the Turtle Beach Stealth Gen 2 wireless and I'm not having no issues with them. I have them over a year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyu0PQpnoHQ&ab_channel=Nange

Astro A50 Headset

Charging is another story however I have found a way around the problem. PS5 will not charge the headset while in rest mode. Kinda odd to me. Very comfortable

Have one for PC and recently ordered another for XBOX. Never had any big issues. Just the occasional issue with updating firmware but hooked up to another computer and updated firmware just fine. Money well spent.
