You need to buy an hdmi adapter in order to use properly

Son likes wired ones better. He has a set of astro wired and likes you dont charge them

Setup was a little confusing but the headset is perfection in every way.

I have had mine for about 3 months. They perform great, however I don't know if I got a pair that didn't get put together properly or something, but the headband part isn't staying together and one of the ear pieces plastic broke on the side. Never has this issue with my A40's...

Great headset for gaming. Only problem was the top of the headphones keep seperating.

High end. Expensive but good quality and good for gaming.

I am use to the Turtle Beach brand of headsets, so I am alittle bias on these. They did not have the clarity that I was used to but did have alot of settings that your could upload to adjust the sound quality. The problem is, everyone hears things differently and one setting that sounds great to one person may sound horrible to you. I ended up returning these and kept my old ones. (Turtle Beach Elite 800 which were a $500 set at the time of purchase)

Was upgrading from model 3 of this. It has all the bells and whistles you'd expect. I fell like the quality of it is a step down. Besides that, its good.

This is a great wireless option for Xbox and pc users.

Audio quality is great. My issues is with the mic. After a year the mic boon for the flip mute started having issues with unmuting my mic and would have to do it multiple times before it would finally unmute. Issues connecting headset to xbox after having it connected to my PC. For the price you can get more reliable headsets with better customer service.

I have owned Astro A50’s for the Xbox one for over a year, never had a problem with them and super easy to set up... I grabbed the new PS5 from Bestbuy and also purchased the Astro a50’s for PS4 (knowing I had to get an adapter to work on the PS5) Got home and followed the steps perfectly on setting up headphones. They didn’t work. I watch multiple setup videos and still couldn’t get the headphones to connect or even turn on. I returned those headphones and got the same ones thinking it was something wrong with the headset. Come to find out those didn’t work either. I went to get a new adapter piece and that didn’t work either. Finally after I went thru 3 diff A50’s and 3 diff adapters I said heck with it, and got the A40’s. A40’s were super easy to set up and sound just as good as A50’s. Idk if it was a defect in PS5 but my Astro a50’s won’t work on my PS5 and it was very frustrating having to return and try new ones. PlayStation can’t tell me anything or help me out because Astro is not a Sony product. Anyone else having this problem with connecting your PS5??

[Employee of bestbuy] When they worked they were solid, overpriced but comfortable. What brings the rating down from what I would've probably given a 4 to a 2 is that for $300 you would expect a product that lasts longer than 22 months. The battery will no longer hold a charge, I contacted support from Astro (well logitech now but same difference), and as the device is now out of warranty it is now a crappy wired headset that anytime the micro-usb cable jostles will turn off and interrupt any experience you are trying to have. Very disappointing experience with what should be a premium headset.
