One year after use it’s still a good headset, no loss in sound but I have used it every day pretty much, and the mic no longer holds its own position, its all they way down or all the way up. But there is no loss in sound or signs of breaking. Long term use, maybe I just got a bad set but the mic will not stay up on its own, but the sound and the ear cups still are amazing

Worth the cost ... Almost can’t feel your wearing them

The headset works well and the gaming preset option is nice. Advice - make sure to download Astro command center to setup and modify your audio presets.

This headset is not worth 300$. First of you take it out put it on the dock and try to update firmware does not work just sits at 0 percent then fails. The fix for this ridiculous. I have another computer a laptop that I read to get the update to work you need 2 computers why? Finally got it updated turned it on and meh is the sound quality I would describe it as. It is way to quite and I’m using it for pc. The way I found to fix it was a guy who makes custom eq settings at www.thezeference.com he is what saved this headset for me. His eq settings made the headset so much better. That said for 300$ I am not impressed I spent 6 hours getting these things to the point of what I consider good. Buy at your own risk. The app to update the headset has a 1.5 star review for everything I mentioned. The ps4 version does not come with a Dolby atmos subscription only Xbox does so there is that. Dolby atmos did not sound better than windows sonic so who cares about that I guess.

Awesome headphones, very versatile. I can use them on my pc and xbox at the same time. (With using a aux cable) using a usb switch to go from pc/xbox gaming. Works very well.

it constantly loses mic capabilities so you have to hard reset your Xbox to get to work again. You need a pc to update it, i havent owned a pc since tablets were a thing. The sound isn't great, the bass is trash even when you adjust the eq in the app. The base station is cool and the battery last forever. For $300 dollars tho, it's not worth it. Get rigs wireless set for less money.

These are definitely solid headphones but I would reccomend the steel series over these if I’m being honest

Astros gaming headset are the best headsets in my opinion. They have never failed me, never began the effective order. Anything they have always been great and reliable

I had the gen 3 A50s for years and never had any issues except for shorter charge over time, switched to the newest gen and have had nothing but issues. Sound quality is 5 stars but the head clip never staying in place and constantly sliding off my ears makes them my worst purchase of 2022.

I have had these for about 4-5 months now and so far have been working amazing haven’t had any issues at all and I’m loving them. Definitely recommend to anyone who is willing to spend the money for these!

Headset is awesome except the top head piece is trash. Always unclips an falls off. I saw other reviews of others selling a piece for a quick fix or just gluing the parts to keep it stable. Also after a few months the headset stopped charging. The deck worked but the headset died. Tried using just a charging cable to it w/o deck am still no charging. Overall the heads set was great other then those issues.
