Not even exaggerating, it's probably half the volume of most other headsets you will find Contacted support and they were incredibly unhelpful. I ended up returning this headset and purchasing the SteelSeries Pro Wireless, and so far it's incredible.

Nice headset, terrible support by Astro

After downloading Astro Command Center, you have the option to turn off sidetone (where you hear your own voice through your headset as you talk) but it doesnt actually shut down. I have tried EVERYTHING. They even sent me a firmware update to manually apply, no fix. I have had weeks of communication with Astro and they are aware of the concern, and are "working" on repairing it, but no ETA. The headset has been out for 3 months and they haven't been able to fix this with a firmware update? For a $300 headset? That's insane to me. I would steer clear of this headset for a PS4 if I were you.

I went to Best Buy to get a set of headphones and after seeing them and the price I thought, there's no way these are garbage like they are made out to be. Well...... the headband doesn't stay on and it makes them unusable. For 300+ dollars how could the company make such a horrible design flaw. Additionally the base station power cuts in and out. Clueless as to why, I have tried using different cords and different power sources and nothing work. Today, just 4 months after owning them, (adult owned and cared for) the base station will not turn on and they are completely useless. TRASH!

Other issue was placing it down onto the charging base, I would have to mess around with it to make full contact for a charge.

After 30 days, they began not charging properly. I checked that they were seated properly, updated the firmware, performed a hard reset, tried to charge via the console, and even tried linking them to my pc and charge them that way. I basically did everything that Astro Customer Service suggested I try. They still will not hold a charge. I have to plug them in to the wall outlet to use them. Even then, they will quit at times. This is the second pair I have used, and I have had the same issue with both. Save your money, unless you are okay with the issues.
