I’ve never had an issue with any headset not charging and much as I do with this headset. I thought this was supposed to be ones on the best headsets around but it really sucks. Don’t get me wrong when it works the sound is amazing but I’m constantly needing to update the firmware in order for it to charge on my PS5 that now it doesn’t even want to update and I can’t use them at all. For all the money I spent on it I am really disappointed. Don’t waste your money, your better of buying Turtle Beaches for half the price.

(XBOXONE Version) HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Must update firmware out of the box. Everyday I have to do a hard reset. Headset will disconnect daily, and no matter what button or switch you touch, headset will not work until you disconnect power from base station. Sent email to ASTRO for help. Their website confirmed receipt of my message and stated they will contact me within 1 business day...That was 4 days ago, no response yet. Expensive and horrible customer service. DON’T BUY. OR YOU’LL BE VERY SORRY YOU DID!

This wireless headset is amazing and since it comes equipped with a tone of dolby features I use it for movies late at night as not to disturb my kid

This is my 2nd pair of a50’s. My other pair is the one with the old docking station. Had to get the one with the new dick station and it’s awesome.

Love the ASTRO brand and this headset. Have had a few over the past 8 years

Kinda difficult to set up but overall great product!

It’s fantastic when it works. However, it’s almost a 50/50 chance if it’s going to work and then how well it will play the small detailed sounds that was the main point of getting such an expensive pair of headphones just for gaming.

Returned 3 pairs! This was supposed to be a birthday present for my son. The first pair was ordered from Amazon. I purchased it new, but unbeknownst to me, it was used. My son asked if I opened it to make sure it was ok, but didn’t. The seal was broken, that was my fault for not checking. The headset was missing screws on one side and the padding for the head was dirty and had hair on it. Returned to BestBuy and bought another. Once received, there was a humming noise on left side. Returned that one for another. Same issue. Do not recommend buying.

Sounds good but constant issues with base station and no sound coming through. Have had for less than a year with moderate use and those issues make it unusable with no apparent fix.

You would think that for this amount of money that it would at least stay together. I had to rig it up to hold together due to weak assembly. Do not recommend

Clip falls of a lot but love them! They work really well

It works just as one would hope of a headset costing this much. It is an investment but it works well for a family man who needs some focus at times.

The packaing is nice and holds them all in one place easy to take out and use them

I dont have a pc so i couldent get them to work out of the box with my xbox siries x so at the moment my nephews useing them for his pc

Not as good as the previous generation. My band broke the first time i put it on... this one definitely feels like the cheapest headset I've gotten from astro and makes me seriously reconsider buying one again. After gorilla gluing the band back together it didn't break again. But i shouldn't have to do a home fix for a $300 headset. Comfort wise feels like a downgrade from the previous gen. This is my 3rd pair of astro a50s. Started with the wired ones, the cable failed on me, but i loved them so much i got the green a50s. Wireless was huge, i still use them for my pc. The new edition for my series x is sad and depressing.

Base has issues won’t turn on and the wire wears out to fast

They sound great....when they work. 85% of the time you have to get up and reset the base station by unplugging the power and plugging back in. They will work as long as sound is being broadcasted through them but as soon as sound stops so does the connection to the base station. I’ve spoken to Astro and they said I needed to update. I’ve updated the head phones many times and this does not fix anything and they would not help me any further. Buyer be ware. For the cost they a joke. Go with a Turtle Beach or another brand

Bought to replace another pair of astros that stopped working correctly, and the new ones stopped working after a month, right after the return window for bestbuy closed, the amount of headaches dealing with these headphones trying to reconnect to the base station is not worth it, get a steelseries instead.
