Horrible after 2 days the volume is so faint on the headsets. I am going to return it and get a different brand. It looks great but I also own a Bose headset and that headset is far more superior. The only reason I bought this one is that it is wireless and I had read some great reviews but not a good experience.

The only reason I bought this headset was because one of my close friend had gave me his A50 but the older version which stopped working after couple of weeks of using. I seriously thought this headset would’ve been good so I didn’t mind spending almost $400 on this headset. I bought this headset back in February and it’s only June right now and hear me out I don’t even play video games like crazy and I know how to take care of my stuff! It’s been less than 6 months and this headset already broke?????? The headset do not want to charge or start up. Same as the old A50 I got from a friend.. LOL $400 for a headset which is not even that crazy good!!! I mean the sound is not even that good I have had headset that cost $80 sounded the same!! Anyways I am so upset like this was not worth my money at all!! This is the second A50 I have had bad experience with… Please don’t buy or waste your money..

I tried it and thot it would be a great headset and for the price especially it would be amazing but I had a very difficult time setting it up and had to search a bunch of videos to finally set it up and after setting it up i had very bad WiFi issues and it wasn’t my WiFi it was the headset causing a very bad lag. I switched to the steel series arctis pro and couldn’t have been more happier with them

I had gen 2 a50 and they started dying faster and charge long.. hopefully gen 3 is an upgrade to battery health and better experience.

Easy hook up, love the easy headset charging stand

DID NOT WORK OUT OF THE BOX, spent hours trying to get this overpriced headset to work. Tech support was no help. Required a firmware update to work. Program crashed mid way through the update and bricked the headset. I expected much more from not only Astro, but best buy.... At $350 I should at least have something that works. :-(

To be clear this is a review of Astro as a company. If you sell high end products I expect an option for fixing hardware issues IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS. Why else would you include an paper insert in the box pushing people to reach out to you instead of returning faulty products to Best Buy for an immediate replacement? I had purchased the Astro A50 Series X supported headset and basestation this past march. Astro provided an insert stating you should reachout to Astro and not the reseller for support. I encounter audio popping and it does not work with the Xbox Series X as advertised. I reach out to Astro for support on 3/24, bare bones response telling me to repeat the same troubleshooting I've already done. They tell me a week later that they will ship out a replacement. I ask for a confirmation on delivery address and to update me with a tracking number. I follow up a week later after they said a replacement was about to be sent. I am told things are busy. I wait another week and reach out. No response.

This review is solely based for PS5 users. Understand that you need the adaptor for you to be able to utilize the chat mixer. No big deal right? It is a big deal, using the Adaptor adds another item to your already packed setup and it also isn’t hdmi 2.1 so if you want to utilize the 4k at 120 Htz, you can’t.

Terrible headset not worth your money. Top piece is constantly popping off as u try to place the headset on ur head. Terrible design. Also both pairs i bought, yes i bought two. They both had a constant ringing coming out of the left ear that never stops after you fully charge your headset once. If you have good ears and don’t want the cushion piece that sits on the top of ur head popping out every time you put it on or tighten ur headset, definitely do not buy these. Go with the Astro A50X’s, way better product
