    I tried it and thot it would be a great headset and for the price especially it would be amazing but I had a very difficult time setting it up and had to search a bunch of videos to finally set it up and after setting it up i had very bad WiFi issues and it wasn’t my WiFi it was the headset causing a very bad lag. I switched to the steel series arctis pro and couldn’t have been more happier with them

    To be clear this is a review of Astro as a company. If you sell high end products I expect an option for fixing hardware issues IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS. Why else would you include an paper insert in the box pushing people to reach out to you instead of returning faulty products to Best Buy for an immediate replacement? I had purchased the Astro A50 Series X supported headset and basestation this past march. Astro provided an insert stating you should reachout to Astro and not the reseller for support. I encounter audio popping and it does not work with the Xbox Series X as advertised. I reach out to Astro for support on 3/24, bare bones response telling me to repeat the same troubleshooting I've already done. They tell me a week later that they will ship out a replacement. I ask for a confirmation on delivery address and to update me with a tracking number. I follow up a week later after they said a replacement was about to be sent. I am told things are busy. I wait another week and reach out. No response.

    the store said they were no longer selling the gen 3 when i took mine in for warranty not even for order... so i was given a gift card for less than the original purchase price.. a week later they have the exact sane gen 3 a50s in stock they "stopped" selling, so i was forced to repurchase at full price INCLUDING a $130 replacement warranty, which has been 40ish for the two other paIrs ive gone thru. So not only did I come out of pocket to rebuy headphones i had a year warranty on still the week before but i paid 100 bucks out of pocket just to leave w the exact pair.. also they didnt credit me the $460 worth of reward points bc I was given store credit back for the returned pair which they don't credit for, If you cant follow that, I should of paid 40 bucks to repurchase a new replacement pair w warranty(now raised $85) and been on my way.

    DID NOT WORK OUT OF THE BOX, spent hours trying to get this overpriced headset to work. Tech support was no help. Required a firmware update to work. Program crashed mid way through the update and bricked the headset. I expected much more from not only Astro, but best buy.... At $350 I should at least have something that works. :-(

    Stick with wired connection. After about 18 months I started getting clicking noises. They replaced it with a refurb that never worked and took so long to get I was out of warrant.

    Bought it in may lasted till September and now somethings wrong with it connecting to base, contacted Astro customer support since 9/10 and they keep trying 50 things to try and fix but nothing’s working For over a month now they haven’t fixed it or offered to replace it, last time I ever get anything from Astro
