The sound isnt as great as they make it seem. The sound settings for the mic is terrible.

Love these, Except... they continuously bend weirdly while sitting on your head causing the cushion to pop out. It will happen eventually, so just be prepared for it. Hopefully they correct this in a future model because I'll be forcing Astro to upgrade them because of the design flaw.

I was a proud user of these A50’s that lasted me a couple of years, but recently they have been nothing but problems. Good headset but terrible software and reliability. Dealt with connection issues almost every other day. Will be buying a new headset and most likely not Astro.

As far as sound goes these were great. The issue i kept having was they would randomly not work. My ps5 wouldnt think i even had a headset and id have to unplug the base station for a while then plug them back in. Maybe its because i never bought the seperate hdmi audio extractor. But i have many games i play 4k @ 120hz..and using their audio extractor limits you to 60hz. Seamed like a great product, and really well built. Loved the base station, was nice being able to set them down and charge. But ill just go back to something cheaper and avoid all the issues i was having.

Have had the headset for about a year and yesterday it just randomly bricked. Headset makes no sound and won’t connect to dock. Tried charging it with a micro usb and nothing. Really dissatisfied with this product now. Astro customer support is a joke as well.

Not worth the price and quality is not good... don’t buy

Looked really cool so i took a gamble. Best choice after doing youtube searching, its pricey but worth it.

This is a really good headset but my box came damaged and after a few uses one of the screws came loose from the right side and the speaker came off. Maybe mines was just defective. But still works I guess

A50s are great, would recommend if your looking for a higher end sound quality paired with a flawless mic.

Bought it, worked once. While it was qorking it was amazing, but since it qorked that one time; its been stuck in some weord mode and no matter what i do and what forums i go on, nothing seems to work. What a shame.

Quality of sound doesn’t match the price of the product. Cheaper headphones sound better.

Do not buy. Wait for an update. Base station freezes. Then causing the Xbox to not be able to detect the headset. You must unplug and re plug in the power cord. Every time you want to game. If it sit on the base station for a period of time it freezes. WAIT TO PURCHASE!!!! Headset is nice sound is good.

The headphones are great but I’m not sure the charging base is worth it

Ive been a big fan of astro, until i bought this one. I wanted to get an edge and get the best headset money could buy. I bought one a few years ago, made sure it was full charge light off and everything turn it on throw it on it would power down due to dead battery after about 20 seconds. Fast foward a few years to now, tried it again hoping they would iron out the issues. Uh no, yet again i get excited thinking this ones gonna work! After a day of using it it starts disconnecting midgame, tried factory resetting and not updating the firmware hoping that would fix the issue, but no continued to disconnect. Moral of the story astros are phonominal WIRED headsets, wireless buy a different brand. Hope this helps someone.

Base has to be plugged in, they run out of battery really quick

i bought the a50 today and updated headset. Watched some videos on youtube to test it and it sounds really nice. went to play some apex legend and i was so confused because my sound are reversed. people walking on my my left side but i hear them on right side.

Sucked not worth the buy, had to use insurance less than 1 month into the purchase.

It's definitely worth the price. I had the old models, and these are way more durable than those.

Great audio however, the headset will cut out due to it being on a radio freq band. They should really make these Bluetooth. It is the same issue with the last gen which I own. I had to return these within the week of purchase. Save yourself the disappointment and pick another brand.
