Great sounds but they do not appear as a device connected to the Xbox One and the mic does not work or even show up as available when trying to use it. Not recommended for anyone wanting to use them on Xbox...

Will not purchase again. The headset no longer connects to the base and I have tried everything from Astro support to Reddit and will be throwing these away.

Bro battery is trash best headset ever but breaks in a year so i write this review every year and return and get new and everytime breaks in a year.

Headset doesn't create that 3D image well. Gaming experience is disappointing. If you wanted to try the Dolby Atmos Experience there is a free trial, however it too has additional cost on top of that over $200 expenditure. My older Turtle Beach was a lot more dimensional. In addition the controls are inconvenient to reach while using (Back of Left Headset), Lastly the charging station was a terrible design. The headset has to set in on a bent angle to make a soft connection. Try doing this as you finish on that late night gaming experience! I feel price vs value doesn't fit for its poor performance. Enough challenge for me to warn others!

Dont waste your money on these expensive headsets. The turtle beach 700's are way better and easier to use. Ive tried quite w few headsets and these were below avg in sound quality on a PS5.

Everything about the headphones is great... except for the mic. The mic is absolutely horrendous and your friends will suffer as a result. A buddy of mine and I each got a pair, which is how we found out. When you adjust game audio, the chat audio is so poor (no range, super monotone, muffled) I couldn’t even hear him. On top of that Astro’s customer service is AWFUL. You can’t call to troubleshoot and instead need to wait 2-3 business days to get a response via email and then do the whole “back and forth” thing, which takes forever. I ended up giving up and just returned them.

Great headset! Just very expensive but sound quality is like non other.

Voice overrides the game itself. hasn't be able to see if the EQ even works. Possibly good for computer but definitely not recommended for Playstation. Quality is great. Sounds stinks. Can't get it to the proper volume. Voices are clear but can't fix it no matter what.

The products packaging looks nice. The product itself isn’t as high quality as you’d assume though. The padding is removable, which i found out a day later when it popped off on me, since then it continues popping off and doesnt click back on. Ontop of that, the fact that i have to hard reset the headset every so often isn’t something that I’m too happy about. Yall save your money and get s better headset.

It stopped working after the return period ended.. base station just blinks white lights and won’t send audio to the headset. I’ve updated the base station and the headset but no luck.

Great for gaming. Specially cod since i can hear enemies very good.

After about 1.5 years of use the battery no longer would take a charge which seems to be a common issue. If you are outside of the 1 year warranty you will be forced to replace as repair is not an option.

The Astro A50 Wireless for PS4 is a very good option for a wireless headset. It provides good audio quality and surround sound, feels sturdy and durable, and is very easy to setup. It looks great out of the box; this version was black and blue. If you are wanting to get this for a PC, you can use either the PS4 or Xbox verison. The ear cups fit over my ears and provided a good seal. I wear glasses, and I did notice that the pressure against my glasses stems did become a little uncomfortable over time. This is quite common though with headsets, I have found. The ear cups contain 40mm drivers, and the unit weighs in at just under a pound. The headset is made from matte plastic, with metal pieces toward the side. The ear pads use a grey fabric which kept my ears cool during my gaming sessions. The microphone pivots up when not in use, and is flexible. The headset has buttons for power and Dolby Audio, and a volume wheel. There are two components to the Astro A50 wireless: the wireless headset and the base station. The base station connects to the PS4 via USB, and works as both a charging dock for the headset and as the wireless transmitter. The charging dock is the best feature of the system in my opinion. The headset sets in the base station neatly, seals the connection with magnets, and charges, so that whenever you come back in the headset has charged and is ready for more use. My charge lasted about 15 hours, which is quite a few gaming sessions for me. The audio quality is very good. I have used headsets with better quality, but not by much. It does a great job with every volume of sound. If you haven't tried gaming with a headset before, this would be a great headset to try it with. It will change how you experience the game, because you can hear every footstep. The Dolby 7.1 virtual sound was very effective and useful for understanding where noises were coming from in-game. The wireless range is stated to be 30 ft. I actually was able to go a bit further away and still get audio, but not much. Overall, the Astro A50 does everything very well. For wireless gaming audio for the PS4, this is the headset to get.

Best headset in gaming. The quality of this headset can’t be beat.

Absolute trash. This "premium" headset has been a constant pain with it disconnecting randomly and occasionally not even linking to my Xbox. On top of that it seems it has completely failed now only barely over 1 year.i so regret buying these. I should've just stuck with razers since they at least seem to last several years before dying. Do yourself a favor and just buy the cheap Microsoft headset and stay away from these. If you don't believe it go look at all the others who have had the same issues.
