Headset Beware! Try First!

Gaming experience is disappointing. If you wanted to try the Dolby Atmos Experience there is a free trial, however it too has additional cost on top of that over $200 expenditure. My older Turtle Beach was a lot more dimensional. In addition the controls are inconvenient to reach while using (Back of Left Headset), Lastly the charging station was a terrible design. The headset has to set in on a bent angle to make a soft connection. Try doing this as you finish on that late night gaming experience! I feel price vs value doesn't fit for its poor performance. Enough challenge for me to warn others!

This "premium" headset has been a constant pain with it disconnecting randomly and occasionally not even linking to my Xbox. On top of that it seems it has completely failed now only barely over 1 year.i so regret buying these. I should've just stuck with razers since they at least seem to last several years before dying. Do yourself a favor and just buy the cheap Microsoft headset and stay away from these. If you don't believe it go look at all the others who have had the same issues.

The mic is absolutely horrendous and your friends will suffer as a result. A buddy of mine and I each got a pair, which is how we found out. When you adjust game audio, the chat audio is so poor (no range, super monotone, muffled) I couldn’t even hear him. On top of that Astro’s customer service is AWFUL. You can’t call to troubleshoot and instead need to wait 2-3 business days to get a response via email and then do the whole “back and forth” thing, which takes forever. I ended up giving up and just returned them.

If you are outside of the 1 year warranty you will be forced to replace as repair is not an option.

Possibly good for computer but definitely not recommended for Playstation. Quality is great. Sounds stinks. Can't get it to the proper volume. Voices are clear but can't fix it no matter what.

However, I can’t possibly recommend anyone buy these headphones for Xbox One X nor the Xbox series X. After downloading a number of different firmware and working with tech-support, these headphones do not stay working. You constantly have to reset, hard reset them or unplug them in order to get them to function properly if you can at all. If you have to reboot your Xbox for any reason, they cease to function after rebooting the Xbox and you have to unplug and re-plug them back in over and over again until eventually they might begin working. These are clearly not a functioning Xbox accessory.
