But to be Honest They’re really not that good it’s hard to hear foot steps on call of duty with these astro A50 . The Sony platinum headset sounds so much better with 3D technology and 7.1 surround For a whole lot less money . Plus you can hear each direction of the footsteps or if someone sneaking up behind you. But I guarantee you that you will be returning these if you buy them I don’t care what the other reviews say .

Headset didn't work

The headset wouldn't even turn on when not connected to the charging dock. I went on the Astro reddit page and discord and it seemed like people were having all sorts of issues with these things. There was firmware problems and faulty docks, etc. I had a gen 3 a few years ago which were amazing, but it seems like the gen 4 has problems. I'll be returning these and going back to my Razer BlackShark v2 Pro headset.

You also cant charge it through a wall outlet or even when ps5 is in sleep mode. Return!!!

Poorly Crafted, not worth the money at all.

The headset itself did not accept its own cushion and it often popped out as well. Probably unplugged and plugged in the base less than 5 times. Hopefully the warranty will resolve but even that is providing to be less than an easy experience. Do not recommend for the price even a little. Should be of much higher quality craftsmanship at close to price of an entire consul.

Sound balance is very subpar compared to previous generations, and the base station freezes whenever you put the Xbox One into standby mode. The only fix is to reboot the bases station by unplugging it and replugging it in. All in all, they could be amazing but Astro hasn't released a firmware fix yet to fix all these issues. Beware of other reviews claiming "5 star" quality and take a look at forums like Reddit where these problems are being repeatedly referenced.
