    U cant charge these unless your ps5 is ON dont buy

    For the price of these you would think these are top notch amazing but they are by far the biggest pain in the butt!!!You cant charge these unless the ps5 is on. You also cant charge it through a wall outlet or even when ps5 is in sleep mode. Return!!!

    I bought this item in April and still not able to connect to my xbox or pc. Total waste of $300. Smh.

    Near Perfect Gaming Headset

    Let me just say that I would prefer to give these a 4.5 star rating as they are mostly everything I wanted in a headset. That being said here are a few things that stick out to me both good and not so good (I can't really say anything "bad" with this headset): Great! - Sturdy/heavy build - Very comfortable with included foam ear cups - Wide range of adjustment to accommodate larger heads - Easy access to EQ, volume, and Dolby source settings - Quick flip to mute microphone - Sound Quality at the higher end of the competition - 30 foot range is accurate Not as great.. - Need to connect to PC for firmware update and to utilize Command Center for custom EQ profiles - Can sometimes be finicky to engage the magnetic charging lock on the base stage - My ears do get noticeably warm during extended periods of gaming - It is difficult to determine if the microphone is actually muted or not (no visual or audible notification) - No foam cover to reduce wind/breathing on microphone As I said, these are mostly everything I wanted, with only minor discrepancies that might not matter to most other gamers. The headset came very nicely packaged and easy to get out and setup. Not a lot of settings to adjust within the PS4 itself. The default EQ settings are somewhat bland as I do not notice a huge difference but that can be customized at your preference. Playing mostly FPS games I can say that I am able to accurately hear footsteps, explosions and gun shots from any direction. Even playing APEX while observing a teammate, I can tell them exactly where sounds are coming from more accurately than they can determine themselves. Overall I am happy and excited to be using the A50's as I am not a fan of wires! The quality of sound and build is what I would expect for a product in this price range and I am confident these will get the full extent of usage with my gaming.

    not best when it come to chat and game volume and you have to spend another 40$ to get the noise canceling cushion my stealth 800 out performed the anytime

    Since series x consoles don't have an optical audio port, you have to connect it through the usb port, which reduces the aduio quality to the point that it sounds comopressed and I tried to look for a solution everywhere but I ended up returning them

    For the price the Astro customer service is too poor. Get for ps4 wouldn’t buy for ps5.

    They Sent Me An Open Item and Labeled it “New”

    I paid for and purchased a brand new one and went to open this and it seems someone already opened it and put it back in some of the packaging. I watched an unboxing video and saw all the packaging and instructions it was supposed to have and that’s how I knew. Best buy you need to check items before selling open box items as new!!

    Logitech now owns this company and they haven't made a quality headset since 2014. I wanted a Dolby Atmos Headset because the games I play are recorded in that format but none of today's Astro Headsets meet the cut. Go to Steele Series if you don't care about Dolby Atmos. Logitech is the place comapnies go to die... On My 3rd Replacement...

    Head pad comes unconnected very easily

    Horribly made. Astro just says to return it instead of attempting to help fix. Top head pad comes off extremely easily and won't stay snapped in. Didn't even get 10 hours of gaming in before they came apart. Astro wasted more of my time filling out information to submit for support,then they did attempting me help fix them.

    Terrible buzzing noise that would not go away. No solutions found online. Ended up waiting too long to return so I hawked them just to get something back out of them. Kept using my previous generation a50s instead.

    The headphones are terrible. The Dolby will go out constantly. When switching between different media on the Series X, the sound will completely go out. This happens all the time. I’ve returned one pair for another and the same problem continues. Astro’s customer service is just as bad as their products. I way to talk to someone, you have to go through email.

    Battery life is terrible. Had mine less than a year and the battery lasts MAYBE 5 hours. It will be at 40% and just randomly die. Getting ahold of Astro customer support is not easy either. I have been waiting weeks to get a response after the automated “we will get with you in 2-3 business days”.

    Junk headset didn't even last past 6 months the station dosen't want to charge the headset and when you finally get it to charge it say full and within 5 to 10mins all 100% die and say one red bar and slowly charging to 4 bars and again once you use it for 5 to 10mins 100% kill it's self. I could have wasted 100 bucks on that junk xbox headset and it would have lasted longer then this.

    DO NOT BUY!! This headset is of poor quality. First, the top headset strap/cushion does not stay on and pops off. Second, the ear cups are coming off after 6 months of use. Third, the charging station is horrible!!!!! Contact is tough to make. There is no value in this headset.

    I have had this headset for about a year and it has been a year of nothing but struggling with the headset or the software, the most expensive headset i have bought and the most problamatic, stay away. my Previos headset the Razer blackshark lasted me two years with no problems until i just decided to buy astros
