    Trash. Wouldnt work without a firmware update. Wouldnt take a firmware update and then it wouldnt even charge right out of the box

    Horrible experience. Brand new one side did not work. Reach out for support just to tell me it was the firmware in order to work for the Xbox series x. After hours I come to find out the latest firmware was already installed. I reinstalled it and no luck. I even tried it on PC since they said it was the series x issue and nothing. Returned it the next day. Best buy gave me no issue to return

    Had these for a year and constantly had to unplug and reconnect the base to get them to pair or get the mic to work. Tried to use them this week and they do not work at all. All of this seems to be a common problem and Astro is less than helpful. When they work, they are amazing but for the price none of this should happen. Save your money and buy anything else.

    Dont buy this. QA is horrible the cushion peace that rest on head will snap off. Horrible build quality it is defective from the start. You can buy a clip to fix issue online but 300+ headphones should have a solid build from the factory not dependent on an aftermarket clip

    Regret paying so much money for this headset that only worked for 2 months. Unfortunately didn’t get the warranty. what a waste of money.

    Not worth the money. The paint starts coming off after a few months. I had it for close to 2 years and it constantly dies even though is connected on the dock and well place. The headset stopped being recognized by the dock and now ASTRO support is not even helping, it takes over a day to hear back and they are not even able to help

    Don’t ever buy astros ever barely got these six months ago they don’t charge anymore I reached out to Logitech and they said they had no warranty anymore like dude it hasn’t even been a year 300 dollars for trash

    Ive had to return this headset 2 times within 8 months due to it breaking down the headcuffs would loosen it would drop etc, for an extra $50 just get the Arctis Pro Wireless. Its a much better buy and has a lot more features.

    These headphones have given me issues from the beginning. I have endured them for 2 years and the entire time they had charging issues, connection issues, and audio quality is terrible. Don’t buy these.

    Updating this headset will delete the firmware and “brick” the entire thing. It’s been unusable for 2 months and no one will help or fix it. Thousands have had the same issue and are currently looking at a class action lawsuit against Astro* don’t buy them, definitely don’t update them, and save yourself $300

    Good headset but the Astro app from the Microsoft store Does not work 90% of the time and won't connect to your headset ....so what you have to do is go to Astro website and download the windows desktop version then it works fine.

    Bought the a50s on a review and long time user from a friend. Didn’t sound good until you installed their software. Then you needed to update the firmware and that got into a loop which means I couldn’t fully configure the headphones. 2 days worth of headache is not what I want as a user I want to just use them. Returned and bought a higher quality pair of headphones for a lot less money.

    I have always been a wireless headset kind of person and have been using a wireless headset of a competitor for some time now. The old headset seemed to check all the boxes, but I was excited to get to try the wireless Astro A50s as I was very familiar with the Astro name and had numerous friends with their older sets. Right out of the box, the headset required me to update the firmware. No big deal. Plug the USB into my computer, download the Astro Command Center app, and click update. Easy, right? Well...not so fast. Every time I attempted to update the firmware, at the 25% mark I kept getting an error. Frustrating, but I have a gaming laptop also, so I moved it over to that and tried to update the headset using the second computer. Same issue. 25% then fail. Just in case this was some fluke, I tried a third computer. Same story. This had me pretty frustrated with these Astro A50s. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with tech support for this headset and after some hard resets, uninstalling the Astro Command Center app and reinstalling, and for some reason letting the head set go completely dead and recharging it, the headset finally took to the firmware update and I was up and running. The very first thing that you will notice is that this headset is EXTREMELY comfortable. I could wear these all day. The magnetic earcups are replaceable, but I don't know why you would want to. These things are amazing. Also, its a good thing that the comfort level would allow you to wear this headset all day, because that is about as long as the battery lasts...all day! I have not ever had these run low on battery and it is really easy to keep these charged thanks to the handy docking station. When it comes to sound, this headset really shines, with some assistance. Initially I was getting echos in the headset, but after altering some of the sound settings in the Command Center app, the echo was gone and I was off to gaming like a pro! Sounds are very specific to the directions they are suppose to be coming from thanks to the advanced Dolby Surround settings and they will supply all of the volume and bass you could ever want if that is your thing. When it comes to mic quality, I didnt record any sound clips as I have in the past with reviews, but I received zero complaints from friends in my Discord channel and it seemed that the range of this headset out did my previous headset. This is especially helpful if you are stepping away from your computer between games and still want to talk to your friends. Overall, these Astro A50s are a thing of beauty. I was a little worried when I had to jump through hoops and do the hokey pokey to make them work, but after making it through the troubleshooting, I can't see myself ever needing another headset. PC or Xbox, these are great!

    For $300 this headset should not be having these issues. The sounds keep cutting in and out. I checked online and people said the 5ghz wifi router can cause interference. I have followed and done all the troubleshooting but still having issues. I have also updated the current firmware as well but no luck. You are better off getting a lower priced corded headset to avoid these issues.
