Nothing but issues with these headphones. Went back to my 12-15 year old Sennheiser's that still work fine.

I would rather hear babies cry all night then to hear these things on my head again. Is this real life???

Y dar the best headset I have owned. Comfort, reliability, and quality are all top tier. I can wear these all day long without any ear fatigue or sweat

You will not be disappointed with this headset. I put this headset through the wringer with different audio tests (8-d audio tests sound amazing). All I could find were more pros and believe me I tried to find cons. When people say this headset is comfortable they are understating it is EPICLY comfortable on your ears. The app is very easy to use and clean. I would give this headset more stars if it were possible.

I picked these up in November 2021 and have loved them. The sound quality is great and the added features with dolby are amazing. It's been very versatile in swapping between PC and console but my 1 big complaint is that at least once a month or every other month these decide to completely lose sound and I have to do a hard reset on them a few times before gaining audio again. Would've loved giving them 5 stars but due to the constant battle and time wasted each time this issue arises I had to give it a 4.

My younger son saved up to buy a gaming PC, so we tried this out on both his gaming PC as well as an Xbox One we've had for a few years. The headset is pretty incredible. The fact that no wires are required, either coming out of the PC or plugged into the Xbox controller is a game changer in terms of freedom of movement. The features that we loved the most include the game/voice balance, Dolby Atmos inclusion, the very long battery life and the customization features via the Astro Command Center. All in all, we would highly recommend this headset.

These baby's are awesome for sound you can clearly hear people walking near by. My only problem is I do find them to be a bit heavy. I had Rig800 prior so maybe it could just be I was used to those. Other then that love em

Fell apart at 6 months. Requesting a replacment from Astro.

Very good quality, comfortable to use for extend period of time. Only issue sometimes have a dificult time updating firmware.

Great for gaming. Works non stop for over 2 days. These head phones great sound and bass.

When it works it’s amazing! Buttt it would frequently have random problems like stop working and having to spend time on the internet for different fixes. Software updates and things would be more difficult then needed and when you are spending this much on a gaming headset it should just work and there shouldn’t be this many problems and it would be one thing if it was just me but it seemed to be everyone. Just make sure you buy warranty if you get it. Also around the year and half mark one side started making a crackling noise and barely works so I had to buy a new headset

These are one of the best headsets I’ve ever used. Sound and mic quality are amazing. Very comfortable also. These work for PC as well as Xbox.

Testing out the headphones, they come with a charging dock, an optical cord, and a usb cord. You will take the optical and usb cord and hook it to your xbox, then hook it to the dock. I had a little trouble at first turning them on, but after that I took out the 2 year dolby atmos trial card. You have to download dolby atmos to get full experience of these headphones. I played Fortnite, Overwatch, and Minecraft using these headphones. The sound quality was impeccable. I could hear very well with these. Compared to other brands of headphones, these had very good sound and they’re wireless but you do have the option of using an aux cord. The headphones also have two buttons on the left ear that allow you to make the chat louder or the game louder. I thought this was smart because usually you have to change it manually with other headsets. There is also the dolby sound button located on the headphones near the on switch, that activates it. This makes the sound even better. The headphones easily rest on the dock and even show the battery life when you sit them on it to charge. I really like this product and will be using them for now on.

Had a friend highly recommend the a50s, said how amazing they were. Great crisp sound, comfort. The whole nine yards. Purchase them, unboxed and on my head. GREAT! Loved the sound, loved the comfort for about 6 months. Now the software refuses to update, and freezes. I have to uninstall the software, and redownload it, but guess what? The moment I put the headset back on the base to try and update it? Same issue. Freezes, and have to redo it, and just not update the actual software. Started getting just static clicking in the headset, constant static clicking, driving me nuts. After putting up with this for the last few months, I just can't see how this headset costs $300, for the absolute TRASH software that you can't even update, and all of the other issues. I accidentally knocked them off my head last night, and they refuse to turn on now. I think I ended up breaking them. TBH. I'm relieved. I have a reason to get rid of them now, because I couldn't bring myself to throw them out, until they stopped working. Will never waste my money on Astros again.

The Astro A50 is the pinnacle of wireless gaming headsets. While it is bulky and includes a docking station that requires installation within USB reach of your console or gaming PC, this device is premium throughout. Audio quality, both output from its soft, comfortable padded over-ear cups was excellent, and the flexible boom mic worked great when chatting with my squad on a few key multiplayer titles on PC. The build quality of this monster is superb. The only few criticisms, and this is preference, is that the headset seems difficult to dock into the base station when setting it down to charge, and the firmware for XBOX and PlayStation 4 should be able to be incorporated into a single base station - Since it can't (thanks Microsoft!) you can always add an XBOX One base station to your setup near your console and simply dock the headset to pair it with that station to switch play. Really impressed with this unit and I might be adding the second base station to make it my go-to on all platforms!

As for a first wireless headset I got to say its great when it works how it should, but god when you have to reset it everytime due to latency issues or headset randomly disconnecting everytime you try to speak or hear is annoying, theres is times where i find myself trying to reset my headset 20 times before I can actually game without it being dosconnected for some random reason, the cusion on top also is very poorly made and detaches from the clips, for a $250 headset youd expect more craftmanship

The best headphones I’ve had thus for I’ve had the headphones since 2021. It is now 2024. They held up good a lot of wear and tear. Thankfully you don’t need new headphones for that just the mod kit. These are really meant to last, connecting it to your PC and customizing it. Lots of customization.
