Best sound quality. You can hear everything in multiplayer. I feel these are much better than the 2016 version.

First off I'll start by saying they look cool and sound really good as if you're in a movie theater. Bad side of it is when I switched to these everyone in my party hears a bunch of echoing and can even hear my in game sound. If you want an alternative, stick with a Razer headset in my opinion as for these sound like garbage if you try to talk to anyone. I am operating windows 11 by the way.

Bought this for my husband who plays PS4 daily. They were AMAZING at first, sounded flawless and he LOVED the way you mute; raising and lowering the mouthpiece/mic. That being said, 3 years in and they cut in and out to where his online friends can't even hear him, and the mic lever broke (I guess from being raised and lowered so much?). Now it just hangs there dangling loose. Sad that these are so costly and don't last. For the price, this is unacceptable. You should get top dollar products THAT LAST, when you pay top dollar money. Very disappointed. :(

I loved this headset when it worked which was barely ever. With constant connection issues and problems where i coulndt even hear my game half the time id say for this price is embaeassing and as a company they should work better on their products cause this is dissapointing!

The Astro-A50 headset is an awesome product. Sound quality is great.

I bought one for myself and one for my wife, and hers came with a broken headband. Mine refused to be recognized by the 1.6/5 star-rated Astro gaming app. When I returned these to Best Buy, the customer service rep informed me that she's had other people return the A50 for not pairing/being recognized right out of the box. There is no way that a headset that costs $300 should have these issues. And the odds of getting two faulty ones at the same time? Keep in mind the box says "designed for Xbox", so the PC experience seems to be secondary or tertiary at best, even though there is a dedicated PC mode. At least I know to avoid Astro at all costs now!

I have had this headset for about 5 months and it still works great, the only thing bout the headset that you should be aware of before you buy it; The microphone after continual use becomes weak and starts falling without you pushing it, it does not affect the quality of the microphone but it is still an issue. I recommend getting the protection plan that best buy offers on these, due to the microphone.

Absolutely love this headset I’ve had it for over 4 years now and so long as you keep the firmware up to date it’s a phenomenal option!

I don't personally use it it was bought for my son and when i asked if he's happy with the headset and his reply was super happy its one of the best thing i have gotten for him.

Great headsrt top of the line but when it omes to issues with this headset when it cant connect its really frustrating to even try to fix it. Especially since astro support isnt helpful and doesnt care. Great headset like i said but once it goes out ill never buy an astro headset again becsuse of the connectivity issues.

I have had these for like 3 plus years and nothing has happened to them until yesterday on wednesday may 17 when thwy just decided to stop working at all and i cant rest them. Anyone know a way to fix it

For the price this headset is at $300 it is terrible. The audio is great but the amount of trouble I have had to deal with getting this headset updated using the Astro Command Center and getting it to work properly save yourself the trouble and go with a different brand. The base station freezes at least once or twice a week. No audio at times which constantly requires to reboot the whole headset. Unplug and re-plug etc. I honestly wished it worked and not have to worry about every time i go to pick up this headset from the base wondering will it work. The Command Center is useless when it comes to updating it as well, its an automatic prompt that will appear so its not a manual update you can select ,in the time I have had this headset I have had to update twice and the amount of trouble I have gone to update is not worth this price. At a $300 price tag this device needs to be able to work a lot smoother.

I regret few of my buying decisions. I try to research thoroughly before I spend my hard-earned money. But this time I failed. I definitely regret pulling the trigger on the Astro A50s. Within a couple of weeks of beginning to use this headset, the issues started to become apparent. First off, the "headband" portion of the set, the cushion that rests against the top of your head, popped out. I thought "no big deal" and I popped it back in. Which worked, until I put it back on my head. Now it pops out daily and won't snap back in properly. I've given up even trying anymore. The microphone is really substandard, especially for a headset of this price. It's not good. I've used much cheaper headsets that had far better microphones. Seriously disappointed. And the charging base is a hassle. Don't let positive reviews fool you. You NEVER just set it in the base and it begins to charge. You have to move it around until it finally hits the magic spot where it will actually work. I'm going to take my medicine on this one and write it off as a bad buy. My own fault for being too optimistic and buying into the hype. Price and quality are not the same thing. You don't always get what you pay for. I found out the hard way. Would not recommend.

I bought these about 2 years ago. CAUTION!!! DO NOT UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE! MY HEADPHONES BRIXKED DURING THE UPDATE. Overall the headset was great. The headband is cheap for what they charge for these things, but nothing super uncomfortable. Sound was great. Software is crap. Noticed there was a firmware update so i tried to update about a month ago. This was the last time my headphones worked. Basically turned them into a 300 dollar paperweight...which is cool...i needed one... Headphones will not turn on or charge. Tried hard reset of headphones. Tried hard reset od base station. Tried old software version of command center and tried manually uodating firmware. Tried windows store version of command center to update firmware. Tried leaving on base station for over a day. Tried leaving headphones charging with usb cable. Tried hard reset while headset was on base and while connected via charger. Please take my advice, look at a different brand. Headset literally would hold a charge for 5 days. As soon as i uodates the firmware, they bricked. If you're looking for a set of headphones thatll last more than a year or two, these are not them. Just look up "a50 firmware update" on google and youll find that, if this happens to you...you will also have a 300 dollar paperweight. Yall wanna send me a new headset? Might change my mind. Otherwise, my recomendation is going elsewhere.

These worked great for less than two years. I got these for my husband and he was very excited and happy at first, but then started getting problems with the updates. After trying to update it for the millionth time, they simply stopped working. No update, no connection, no sound

This headset is extremely overpriced for the headset to have so many problems. I use the HyperX $60 gaming wireless earbuds now and they work so much better than a pair I spent $300 on. For these to be called the best gaming headphones, they are so disappointing. When I first bought this headset, everyone I got into a party with would complain how they could hear litterally everything I could hear. EVEN THEIR OWN VOICES. This was very annoying because everyone would hear everything twice like footsteps, or gunshots. Eventually I assume that problem stopped because people stopped complaining about it. Second, the audio mixer is terrible and you can't get a good in-between for chat audio and game audio. It's extremely frustrating in situations like talking to my teammates before they or myself dies. You can't hear them over the game audio or the chat is too loud and you die because you couldn't hear the guy sneak up on you. Overall, these headphone aren't worth the money and they are aren't nearly as good as everyone makes them out to be. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because I can at least say it makes a cool expensive desk ortiment.

Sound quality is great, but if you are in a party chat, they will hear a robotic noise.. known issue according to research of people who purchase this headset using console..
