It works fine for two years. After it forces an update which there is two. One for the headset and one for the base station. Upon updating, theres an error message that even logitech cannot fix. This is their words: we regret to inform you that your product is already outside the warranty period and we are unable to proceed with a warranty claim. Since we do not have official repair centers, we could not provide you with an alternative solution at this time. Don't waste your money.

These are absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend theses to anyone looking for some good gaming headphones!

Great headphones , middle piece seems to pop out a bit and that causes some frustration but alittle work around skill and it’s good .

First headset I purchased for PC and it was buggy from the start. It frequently lost connection and needed to be reset to even charge. Now resetting it doesn't seem to be working. The astro command center said it needed a firmware update after the most recent reset so I started it. It was stuck at 25% for 10 minutes then said it failed and now it won't connect at all. Seems like the headset is now useless. Extremely poor product especially for the price. I recommend get something else. Unless you enjoy sitting down after a long day and finding out your headset disconnect randomly and is now dead.

i keep having an issue with the two bands on top seperating and my headset would randomly fall off,,, has a heavy plastic feel to it, i would have liked to see some metal reinforcements or something ,and the wires that conect to the earcups seem like they would be in danger of being pinched,i would have liked to see some braided/coiled wires for durabilty. and last but not least, you have to put the heqdphones perfecrly on the charging dock for them to charge... for about $350 i kinda expected a a better product...

While the headphones have great sound quality, the customer service has been horrendous. **IF** You buy this headset, you must get Geeksquad protection. Look at the Astro Sub-Reddit with all the people with bricked headsets because one day, it just randomly stopped working and then the software provided by Astro (Logitech) doesn't work. If you don't believe me - look at the number of 1-star ratings on the Microsoft App store. It's good hardware taken down by a lack of support from Logitech and Astro.

I bought my A50 in December 2019, and I'm writing this review in May of 2022 - for those counting, that's about 2 1/2 years. A week ago, my headset stopped taking a charge - I reached out to Astro support and was told, essentially, "We don't provide any repair services (paid or otherwise) for out-of-warranty - here's a link to the exact same SKU at full price!" - which is a roundabout way to say "Pound sand" The battery is attached by a micro-molex connector. It would be ABSOLUTELY trivial for Logitech/Astro to provide a service to replace the battery, or a user-serviceable part, and they refuse to do so. Terrible customer-service and environmentally irresponsible short-sightedness on their part. This will be the last Astro product I purchase until or unless this changes. Avoid.

very disappointing headset. Way to many issues with this headset as it likes to randomly disconnect itself sometimes and no matter what i try the headset will not turn back on. Astro command center does not work at all updates fail and never recognizes my headset. So for $300 i wouldnt recommend this headset at all because some days you wont be able to play like me because my it chooses when it wants to work and when it doesnt wish i could get my money back. check the astro command center app reviews and you will see a bunch of the same reviews like this.

its a great headset, sounds amazing, but there is a VERY annoying buzzing in left ear, if u get lucky enough to not have this in yours, its one of the best wireless gaming headsets u can get, but i will be returning because of this, very very dissappointed.

Top piece of headset comes apart, causing the cushion to go through the two pieces and not rest on top of your head as it should. Comes out of the box with a wildly loud sidetone so you hear your voice and all background noise without a noise gate. Maddening. Lagging audio, terrible proprietary software and requires two separate audio devices on the computer. One is game, one is PC, so configuration is a nightmare. $250 for a bucket of problems is wild.

I have been a PC gamer for over 15 years. I have owned many headsets. After getting a well paying job, I decided to splurge on a headset. This headset is by FAR the worst headset for the value I've ever owned. NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. Avoid this hunk of junk and save your money. The microphone quality sounds like you're talking out of a tin can stuffed with pillows. Just to name a few issues: *Headset wont charge *Headset wont turn on *Headset wont connect to base station *Base station becomes bricked *Audio volume locked at low levels *Headset randomly powering down, even when vertical

This is by far the worst headset Ive ever had. The muffs say that they are designed to be worn comfortably with glasses, but ive found that these muffs arent even cofortable to wear without glasses. the muffs push to much on my right ear so after wearing them for half an hour, its just plain painful. If I take my glasses off, then it gives me and hour before it hurts. And ive tried every method there is to fix it, but nothing has worked. And the charging base is too small for the headset itself so you'll have to reseat the headset a couple of times before it actually starts charging. Wouldn't recommend this headset to anyone. For a $230 price tag, you'd think they would be better.

Quality product. I would buy again. I use these on a daily basis. I rely on products that get the job done.

For 300$ they tend to disconnect alot and take a few tires of plugging them in and out for them to work kind of makes me want to physically harm the company for not fixing this but charging 300$ for them
