    WORST HEADSET FOR THE MONEY

    I have been a PC gamer for over 15 years. I have owned many headsets. After getting a well paying job, I decided to splurge on a headset. This headset is by FAR the worst headset for the value I've ever owned. NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. Avoid this hunk of junk and save your money. The microphone quality sounds like you're talking out of a tin can stuffed with pillows. Just to name a few issues: *Headset wont charge *Headset wont turn on *Headset wont connect to base station *Base station becomes bricked *Audio volume locked at low levels *Headset randomly powering down, even when vertical

    Great sound TERRIBLE BASE CONNECTION ISSUES

    For 300$ they tend to disconnect alot and take a few tires of plugging them in and out for them to work kind of makes me want to physically harm the company for not fixing this but charging 300$ for them

    Top piece of headset comes apart, causing the cushion to go through the two pieces and not rest on top of your head as it should. Comes out of the box with a wildly loud sidetone so you hear your voice and all background noise without a noise gate. Maddening. Lagging audio, terrible proprietary software and requires two separate audio devices on the computer. One is game, one is PC, so configuration is a nightmare. $250 for a bucket of problems is wild.

    its a great headset, sounds amazing, but there is a VERY annoying buzzing in left ear, if u get lucky enough to not have this in yours, its one of the best wireless gaming headsets u can get, but i will be returning because of this, very very dissappointed.

    Don't waste your money

    This is by far the worst headset Ive ever had. The muffs say that they are designed to be worn comfortably with glasses, but ive found that these muffs arent even cofortable to wear without glasses. the muffs push to much on my right ear so after wearing them for half an hour, its just plain painful. If I take my glasses off, then it gives me and hour before it hurts. And ive tried every method there is to fix it, but nothing has worked. And the charging base is too small for the headset itself so you'll have to reseat the headset a couple of times before it actually starts charging. Wouldn't recommend this headset to anyone. For a $230 price tag, you'd think they would be better.

    The charging becomes a challenge over time. Doesn't seat well. Could have had a better dock. Less aggravating to plug it in then to fiddle with the dock.

    Do not go with these guys for wireless. always disconnects and because there is no plug and play for xbox if you lose battery life you're done for. Why would you lose battery you ask? Because these trashcans dont charge unless you have it perfectly balanced on the stupid home base. go with another wireless headset. i'll be going back to wired. I've had these for three years. always the same problems.

    Buyer Beware

    Purchased this based on the strong reviews but these fell extremely short. At this price point I would expect the device to "just work" out of the box. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the base station to show any signs of life across multiple PCs, Xbox(es), or with multiple cables. After spending some time troubleshooting and researching online articles, it became evident that there are numerous reported issues with this set, and with Astro in general. This experience taught me to avoid Astro products in the future. High end price without the high end experience.

    Don't buy for series X

    Had the A40s for 3 years. When the wires started messing up and the right earphone went out i upgraded to the A50. Simple enough to set up but will not communicate with the base after you remove the headset from it. Same thing when I plug it in to my PC. Returned that pair and got a new one. Still same issue. Looked on Reddit and i can see I'm not the only one. Would have loved to use them but I'll be returning the second pair today and looking at other options.

    The app that is supposdly compatable with this headset hardly ever works. Also the customer support is bad. For as expensive this headset is i was expecting better app support and a more quality feel.
