    stopped working in less than two years #junk

    Astro only has a one year warranty for their headset and its BS. They know that built in lithium ion rechargeable battery will fail and they count on it to get you to buy their next gen headset and junk the old ones. Get the in-store warranty because Astro does not care about its customers. For the amount I spent, i expected more from Astros. I have turtle beaches from 2015 that still work at a fraction of a price.

    They don’t charge

    Bought them, took care of them only lasted 4 months. Stopped charging. Astro sent a 2nd pair, those did the same thing after 7 months. I’ve always loved Astro, but clearly the logitech buy out led to faulty devices. Don’t waste your money. I am one of many that this happened to and Astro refuses to acknowledge that they’re selling a faulty product

    Headset works great for audio. The Software corrupts the entire headset making it useless. Do NOT buy. The support is horrible. The headset is nothing but a waste of money since it wont work at all

    Expensive trashcans

    This company has the worst software next to Razer. After only 2 years these $300 trashcans failed to update firmware which then completely broke them. They will no longer play sound from my xbox series X. Absolute waste of money. Buy another brand!

    I have the GEN 3, and it makes since why Besy Buy no longer carries it. My a50’s have broken/stopped working twice in a little over one year. I was able to replace it the first time through Best Buy. Unfortunately the second time I was not and it was through ASTOR gaming themselves. Hopefully this new gen is better and more durable but I would highly recommend buying a different headset

    Awful headband thst falls apart as soon as you move your head, annoying quirks keep you windering if the headset will work before every session. Not worth it when Turtle Beach is similarly priced.

    Awesome headset, but quit working completely after 2 years. Astro sent me a new one which also completely quit after an additional year, I wish they would come out with a new model

    Best Buy Loses A Customer...

    Whole left side didn't work within a month and two weeks, first the audio level, then the microphone not working. Customer service was even worse as they said they would replace it and then changed their mind.

    Will Break Easy / Bad Battery

    Poorly made with cheap parts. Will break and battery with drain much faster over time. The wired connection can't even hold a connection because the battery is so degraded. Such a shame. Avoid this.

    Buy a different headset

    Pretty difficult to set up, my pair wouldn't charge when placed in the proper position. Ended up returning them. They also felt cheap and had fewer features than cheaper mics from Astro

    Glitchy, always disconnects, garbage

    The most useless $300 headset I have ever purchased. When you mute the mic, the mic stops working all together, even after unmuting. Will randomly disconnect from the Xbox and you have to restart the Xbox.

    Ok, you can't play while charging unless you do some wizard stuff. It's complicated. Inconvenient if you have children. Basically you need a daily basis set up. I regret buying it. Will definitely return it and get me a Bluetooth headset without the extra unnecessary stuff.

    Purchased this item 6 months ago and it just quit working. Contacted Astro support and nothing. I have purchased much less expensive headsets that have long outlasted these. But this product at your own discretion.

    Purchased a pair of these and had problems after a few months with intermittent connection issues. Reached out to Astro customer service and they were very unhelpful. Refused to do anything other than offer a coupon for a new pair.
